I doubt he's directly involved but this sort of thing should still be expected when you cater to the #chan crowd, it's exactly the type of behavior I would expect from his fans.

aprox 9001 different ways to influence people just via text. Where do your periods go? How is the cadence of your sentences. Lots of spaces and small little words, commas, should we give off the impression that we are just having a leisurely chat?

When you talk to someone, do you want to put them at ease? Do you want to get them afraid, sell that ADT subscription? What's the agenda?

yeah guys the LAST reason I joined this forum is to piss off established users,

I'll try to make my final thoughts coherent, uh, I think people just get real fucking jealous, because it is a LOT easier to stream video games than to dig graves or install HVAC so they try to belittle their occupation of choice so they feel like they're getting a better deal ya know?

Like I feel like there is a push to attach some sort of social stigma to people that make money from 'bullshit' , like talking to youtube camera about games you like for 10 minutes a day, because everyone else is so fucking jealous, they need to be punished for having easy lives :vomit::vomit::vomit:

But there's no social stigma from being say a board director, who also makes 10s of millions and does less than 1 nanosecond of actual work in their workday

This is a load of shit. I feel bad for the families that lost their kids, but they should be going after all the people making money off of fearmongering and agencies that failed to act. Hopefully, it gets thrown out in court.

As for the Pman, I cannot stand his content, his attitude, or the zealots that follow him. But blaming him for the actions of a few (prob people who are subscribed to both channels exploiting a userbase who wants the other to win) is wrong and is teaching people to not be responsible for their own actions.

There is some truth in your statement. Plenty of jobs require more manual labor others can be mentally exhausting. But to stay relevant some of these content creators are working longer and harder than people are giving them credit for. In the end, it is much easier to blame someone else for your own problems vs. accepting fault and trying to change the situation.

There actually is a growing resentment today about those very same people. A specific political party has a few radicals (hell it may be more generalized than I know) inside of it is pushing the narrative of rich man bad. Give the government full control and we will make sure even the those unwilling to work will get paid.

Also, I wouldn't pick on board directors, CEOs, or anyone else that high up. What might seem like a "nanosecond" of work can negatively/positively affect jobs they directly created "people hired by company X." These decisions can also negatively/positively affect jobs indirectly created by the company. So their choices may reach into 100K+ jobs.

If it is on Youtube, it probably sucks.

Don't get me wrong. Youtube was great back when it was just regular people sharing their latest cat video, but as soon as it started to include polished and edited contents, it quickly became "teh suck".

Youtube was great as a video clip sharing site. it is terrible as a "show" site.

In all seriousness, there is still a lot of great content on Youtube, and there is a lot of great content still being uploaded to Youtube. Most of my music comes from Youtube discoveries on small (less than 1000 subscribers) channels. I've learned a lot on Game Theory videos, especially how fun it is to think outside the box and look at established facts from a different perspective. The only "major" channels I'm subscribed to are Game Theory and Corridor Digital, the rest are small Vocaloid music creators.

Don't worry. This guy has been on these forums time and time again, talking about how YouTube was always better back in the day. I tried to have a reasonable back and forth, and it stayed civil, but neither of us budged on our opinions (I think it's great to have a mix of ameteur and professional content, he wants it all ameteur content). Ultimately, everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I don't think it's unreasonable to say YouTube is objectively better now than it was then. Worse in some ways, yes, but the pros far outweigh the cons.
