Nvidia revealing an updated version of path traced Quake 2 at GDC

Wonder what the frame rate will be like with the NVIDIA contribution.
 
Very nice! If all the old ID games were updated with what is indicated -> Makes a RTX card much more desirable. This is probably the most exciting thing for me for the whole of 2019. RTX needs games and more games.
 
I tried the Q2VKPT version and it's.. er.. ok.. very buggy. Looks ok but too dark in spots and very RED all over.. This however looks mouthwatering. Looks like we can DL and play it in the next few weeks.
 
I am so all over it too.. the video looks drool worthy..
