i bet that 2080ti product wont go space invaders on ya(y)

"Space Invaders" is just an anti-nVidia movement. That's all. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyone with an ounce of intellect saw through that facade instantly. It's a release mechanism for the have-nots to vent and feel better about themselves. And I understand that, I get it. If you look at AMD, some of their past products, there were more problems with those cards 10 fold over any nVidia product, past, present or future. At the end of the day, the real "space invaders" is how shitty AMD video cards really are in regards to performance. And I am willing to bet even the new AMD video cards that are coming out will be no faster than a 1080 Ti and cost in the $700 range. You have to understand, AMD GPU's are still years behind nVidia. Even when AMD's new video cards come out they will still be considered a "dumb" video card. They lack A.I. and Ray-Tracing. And who wants a dumb "space invaders" AMD video card. AMD is the real "space invader" not nVidia. Also, when asked, the guy that did these custom nVidia RTX 2080 ti aluminum badges told me there was zero interest from anyone asking him for AMD GPU custom badges. So, yeah, you kinda have your real answer right there.

Your logic is impeccable and definitely not flawed in any way with personal bias. "Space Invaders" is truly made up and everyone who ever experienced it was truly just an AMD fanboy with an agenda. Nvidia has never done wrong.

It also appears that Nvidia fanboys, unlike AMD fanboys, are more flamboyant to the point that they'd pay for custom aluminum case badges.

Thank you for your insight.

Well, the last 2 Nvidia cards I bought needed to be RMA'd.

First it was a Titan X Pascal that had black square artifacts on the screen, and my RTX 2080 Ti had crashing left and right.

I don't recall having any problems with any of the AMD cards I've purchased over the years.

Also, the people that got "space invaders" were not AMD fanboys. They just spent $1,200 on an Nvidia card and rightfully expected it to work.

But I do agree that a large portion of the backlash and complaints were from people that didn't actually own the cards.

Really? Talk to Kyle who had multiple cards died and showed a screen shot of the "space invaders" failure.

Look, It's just a case badge, you guys did not have to come in here and thread crap. When I post something informative and fun, it's not an invitation to talk shit.

He basically invited me to share my POV so I did. Don't like it, then go be hurt somewhere else. Get a hug, whatever you need to do to feel better.

Secondly, you suck at sarcasm.

Custom case badges rock!

I should have posted this in custom modding or something now that I think about it. Further away from the have-nots. You guys definitely don't go in there. My mistake, I exposed myself to the Radeon RX 570, 1050 ti and 1060 crowd. Opps, my mistake ... < ---- that's how you do sarcasm.

anyways, all is forgiven. Let's get back on course before we get into trouble :)

I was never into case badges but if I was that’s the one I’d get. ;)

They look pretty snazzy and old skool af. Not to keen on the windoze badge though.

Got any pics of it on a case?

Sorry to say but these look really shit. Poor quality laser marking.

Never understood case badges, like I don't remember I bought the hardware it's advertising.

Not my thing, but wanted to put some positive vibes in here for you, they look cool for what they are, enjoy your purchase, have you got them in place on your case?
