You can play this until they fix it, it's pretty much the same thing.

Who knows, it may even end up being cheaper.

Nope and I'm not going to spend any coins right now. There is no reason to go for cosmetic stuff. They are recycling those still until new ones come a long there is not much choice either.

I'm at Lvl 29 and have a few Masterworks weapons...I'm currently using the Masterworks Thunderbolt of Yvenia (marksman rifle) and the Wyvern Blitz (sniper rifle)...the Wyvern is pretty nice as it has a perk which increases weak point damage by 40% while hovering) ...here's a list of all the Masterworks/Legendary weapons, gear and components...

I'm finally Lvl 30...will hopefully get some good Legendary/Masterworks rolls...

Good luck with that. It's a pain in the ass just to get Legendary and MW items to drop in the first place, and most of them will be terrible rolls.

I got a bunch of Masterwork Seals and weapons (but no Legendary)...you're guaranteed at least 1 Masterwork drop by doing the Legendary Contracts and Strongholds on Grandmaster difficulty...you can also stack gear that has 'Support Luck' inscriptions for a higher chance at a good drop...it's still a grind though...

Like I said before you get a weapon you like use it then when you do the required achievement (killing elite or legendary stuff) you can craft it.
I crafted an Avenging Herald with 30 luck 150 weapon damage :) . So it is not an endless loot grind. However you do need masterwork embers that is a whole different subject (check youtube).

I've been playing at level 30 on GM2 difficulty and have yet to see a single legendary item, ugh. I've also been receiving a lot of the same MC items after finishing a contract or stronghold mission, into the recycle bin they go! It'd be nice if they could recycled for coin but the is EA greed we're up against.

I completed the main plot yesterday. Can't say I have a ton of motivation to keep going at this point. Seems like you're just getting stronger to do the same things again. I'll might hop back in whenever Bioware (hopefully) unveils their equivalent of the Taken King.

More revelations on scaling in the game came out on Reddit today. How can devs fuck up this badly, especially ones with so much experience in RPG mechanics?

but you need to have the weapon already in your inventory...you can't craft a blueprint for a weapon that's not already in your inventory...you do those challenges to get the crafting blueprint only to get a better roll (for better inscriptions)...so it doesn't change the grind at all

There is an exploit ;) you can use the epic version and hit once swap to ANY masterwork gun hit once mob dies you get a credit.

But normally you need to use the masterwork version. Using the hard difficulty is likely to get guns from masterwork. drops.

I did a few of those Legendary Contracts solo in Grandmaster 1...crazy difficult...they should give you some bonus or guaranteed Legendary drop for completing them solo

In a group you hardly see anything alive longer then a second on GM1 , if you do tyrant mines it is going so fast that people just grab those orbs and when you are finished the mobs just vanish nothing to kill....

The mobs that spawn during the platform sequence in Tyrant's Mine don't have a chance to drop anything, just FYI.

after you finish the orbs (2nd encounter) you get to fly to the poison ally (the one with the eggs before the door) you can try and kill mobs on a separate segment east of that door , few scar and one with a shield those do drop things ;)

I've been grinding hoping to get the Death From Above Marksman Rifle...but no luck...the game is definitely fun and I'm hoping BioWare fills it up with more content and fixes the main issues...group or solo are both fun to play...one of the better flying/jetpack mechanics I've seen in any game

for Storm everyone seems to love the Ice Storm primer but I prefer the Shock Burst followed by the Lightning Strike detonator...I have the Masterwork versions of both and they are pretty powerful...isn't there supposed to be a March content/DLC drop?...they mentioned new Events every month in their roadmap

new server hotfix released today...I guess I'll be playing some GM2 later tonight...

changes include:
  • Masterwork & Legendary drop rates have been increased for Grandmaster 2 and Grandmaster 3 difficulty levels.
  • Masterwork & Legendary drop rates have been increased for harder enemies at all difficulty levels. This includes: Legendary Titan, Epic Titan, Legendary Fury, Legendary Acid Ursix and Legendary Luminary Elder

they really need to improve the drop rates on Legendary items...I'm all for end-game grind but this is crazy...I've done a ton of Strongholds, Quickplay, Freeplay at various Grandmaster levels and have only received 2 Legendary drops (I did receive the Divine Vengeance assault rifle which is pretty cool)...I keep getting the exact same Masterwork drops over and over

also where is the March content drops?...way too many new Freeplay events listed on the March roadmap...they really needed to add at least 1 new Stronghold in March (a new one is scheduled for April)

if you don't like the game that is fine...but your posts have become so negative and silly...it's like you have some personal issue with EA/Bioware...you keep saying that they are not going to support the game anymore, no patches or new content etc...that's crazy...they've been releasing patches on a consistent basis since launch and have been fixing issues as they arise...they're doing an excellent job supporting the game

Dude take a step back and give it a real look. The game is not going to last, its just not. They can't even patch the game with out breaking it over and over again.

You're free to just stop following the game if you think the devs are going to just drop support.

I think he's just a troll at this point...one of those EA/Bioware haters who posts the same negative comments that don't make any sense over and over in multiple forums...the game is guaranteed to be around for another year at least...as I'm typing this I see they released another patch...literally every few days they seem to be releasing something...the game has issues but developer support is not one of them

LOL yup totally a troll, didn't drop a fair amount on this game at all. You guys are fooling yourselfs at this point.

Stream set for Wednesday from Bioware. On the Anthem website you can now click the updates from March and April. Those for March will be announced is my guess in the afore mentioned stream.

Actually they don't need to improve the drop rate for legendary items. They need to make game play more interesting. In the end when you have all the legendary items the game will still be interesting to play. And if the only focus is drop rate the game will become really bland.

Guess which people already quit , the ones having an abundance of legendary items :).

Today I was playing on the interceptor and doing a hard difficulty dungeon run (tyrant mines) and 2 n00bs join one with 122 item level and other with 220 item level .... They died a lot of times. I setup the interceptor for doing harvest runs for quick completion of world challenge daily's. Getting a good amount of materials for each node I harvest (save defender weapons for this)

good point...I also wonder if the developers want players to max out multiple javelins as part of the endgame...for me personally I mainly use Storm but I also surprisingly like Interceptor...I saw the roadmap when they released it a few weeks back and the part of the March update that interests me most is the introduction of Elysian Caches- 'Obtain keys by completing daily challenges. Use your keys to unlock Elysian Caches at the end of strongholds for vanity rewards'

that's another thing they need to improve...the customization options could use more drops and more items available to purchase through the store (using in-game coin)

Division 2 is just such a better game. Even if you don't like the style of division 2, it's just so much easier to play and do things in. There is way more loot, and changing out items is so much faster/easier.

Anthem is just broken is so many critical ways. The worst just being all the load screens. Couple that with no PVP, etc and I just don't see why people continue investing time in this game.

I've seen (and heard) a lot about load screen issues, but I didn't really have any issues with them. They're a bit long for PC gaming, but they're no worse than most console games.
On the other hand, I think the way the various game screens and modes are arranged is pretty horrendous. Having to go to 3 totally different UI screens (that are independent of one another) is ridiculous. Even if this game has been in the works for like 6 years, that seems like something the UI/UX team should have flagged a long time ago.

I am thinking the following. Bioware did not have time enough to update and streamline the loading part they left it as is. I mean when you start the game you get a Intro and then after 15 seconds you get a prompt looking for server (which in it self should have been done before the intro). After that you get a prompt to press space bar after that you get another loading screen.

That process as a whole does not make any sense whatsoever unless they got rushed. You know you want to connect to server and you know that you need load fort Tarsis. There is no logical other way to pursue those actions and they can be done without loading/server connect screens......

And that is but the start :) So in the end those will actions where they can will be optimized.

It's the simple stuff that just takes way too much time. Even on my high-end system with NVME storage - Having to load just to change out gear, loading again to select a mission, etc. Versus look at how division does it. All the missions are just ready to be entered almost immediately. Gear can be changed on the fly no issue. Etc.

load times are not an issue at all on my SSD...I think that might be a bigger issue on consoles...once you get used to the quirks such as not being able to change your loadout mid-mission it feels fine...you get used to it...as far as pvp, I'm not sure it would work in in a game like this...plus who's to say that they can't add it in later...they do seem to be addressing issues rather quickly so like I've been saying from the beginning- the game we see today will most likely evolve into something greater 6 months from now

Assuming they actuall keep that roadmap for content right.........

I don't think traditional PvP would work, personally. At least not in the game's current form. Some type of hybrid (a la Destiny's Gambit) could be fun, though.
