Ubisoft has released the latest trailers for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 and the first video showcases many of the AMD optimizations in the game. From high resolution shadows to real-time reflections, the game is shaping up to be a graphical masterpiece. The second trailer showcases the developer's vision in recreating a real-life, post-pandemic Washington, DC within The Division 2. Ubisoft researchers explain in great detail why certain wildlife, monuments, locations, camps and more are present in the game. Tom Clancy's The Division 2 launches March 15th but Gold Edition purchasers are already playing as those versions feature 3-day early access privileges.

How do you recreate a city? The Division 2 takes place in a post-pandemic Washington, DC, and bringing it to life required in-depth research and dedication to getting the details right. Learn about how the team tackled iconic monuments, incorporated real-life disaster planning into their designs, and adapted the map to create a believeable post-pandemic city in these interviews with IP Researcher Cloe Hammoud and Lead Environmental Artist Chad Chatterton.

All my vendors blasted me just after this went up that Division 2 keys were being bundled with most of the Ryzen chips. I am trying really hard to hold out for Ryzen 3, but between the RTX bundles and now the Ryzen 2 ones that’s a lot of game.

I know the 2600 comes with it .

If anyone bought this, can you tell me if they took out the double clicking in the menus? That killed me during the open beta.

They said on their State of the Game today that they will be addressing some of the UI complaints and have demonstrated they are very tuned in to their players. Their video podcast is pretty solid and their Community Manager, Hamish is solid. There have been some bugs and crashes, but overall it has been a blast to play. This is a game that rewards the player taking their time. Tons of surprise encounters and its fantastic how roving patrols will pop out of a building, sewer, or truck. If you are not spotted, they very may well walk into another building or sewer. Easter eggs galore and a world that is alive.

It is in way better shape than when the Division 1 launched; and despite some fiddly UI and control bits for those of us on the PC; I do not regret my purchase for a second. Can't wait to wrap up my adulting today to go back into the game.

the game is boring and bad + epic store exclusive, good luck selling me this trash

I almost ended my friendship with by buddy because he shot and killed a bald eagle that took off from a police car. But then we ended up fighting a patrol shortly there after and I forgot.

No, you can buy it on Uplay or Epic. Until tomorrow you can buy it on 3rd party sites like GreenmanGaming or Humble as well. The Epic exclusive makes no sense other than as a test run for Ubisoft to see how many copies they sell on it vs Steam numbers and if its worth it.

Game is fun as hell.. Some crossroads in this city are deadly never-ending waves of fighters tho... Found that out terribly bad when A 10min fire fight ended in my death by being over-run with what seemed like endless waves of pissed off Hyena's.

Definitely one of my top 3 favorite games ever (if not #1 of all time). The amount of detail is absolutely insane! The thunderstorm sounds real in Atmos and there's even lightning that flashes in the sky. ...and fighting through the museum exhibits just left me speechless.

Have you stumbled on any Easter Eggs? There's a flat earth print-out that's activated in NOA and a "Hydden Hotel" sign in Metro Ruins with a check-in button.
