Disney's New Streaming Service Will Include "The Entire Disney Motion Picture Library"

I bet none of you guys have kids, that's the only reason why most of you are saying NOPE. Geeeeeeeeeeeet the fuck outa here, even your wives would agree with me haha.
I agree. I’ll still keep Netflix because it get it from T-Mobile but if I didn’t rip Netflix and a lot of others.

Yes - kids change everything. Mine are older now and no longer watch Disney stuff. I'm off the hook.
When they were younger, this would have been awesome. We had a lot of DVD's back in the day. My kids watched these a lot. (Hard to remember, but this was before Plex was even a thing...)

Ah yes, Plex, the real competitor to streaming services. Though I've been using other programs that work similarly like Windows Media Center and Media Portal. Today I use Jellyfin.

If they include their entire TV catalog it'll be pretty sweet. Wouldn't mind having Duck Tales and the like available at my finger tips.

Also hope there is an adults section for their rated R movies and shows, but I'm not holding my breath.

People, people... Disney is not just kids, they are a bonifide conglomerate.

And that is probably incomplete.

Odd are 100% of adults watch something Disney on a regular basis and don't even know it.
So yeah, all in for them, okay I'm in forever paying most likely. Tailored, and cut down bullshit, nope.
Yes they do have tons of things to put on, but by the same token there is a lot im am not interested in, which is why they need to offer pretty much everything they got, so i can filter stuff and really get a good time.

Based on what exactly?

Clearly you where not of cartoon watching age in the 90's. Direct 2 DVD sequels where special.

Disney has a long history of being EA like, buying studios, running off the talent and sinking the product once it's been milked to death. They are the OG EA.

You got me, I have to watch it with my grandkids.

So now that they won't be "vaulting" their content anymore does that also mean they will return to producing hardcopy as well? I'd love to have the option to purchase BluRay's of movies they had vaulted.

eBay them. Disney movie resale values have dropped since the widespread adoption of streaming services.

They'll tank even more once their own streaming service comes online.

I look forward to building my Disney Blu-ray (at home) and DVD (in vehicles) collections for dirt cheap, comparatively to the "vault" system pricing.

Told my wife, "we won't need that service, right?" She agreed we dont want another service. Then I told what will be on it, then suddenly that attitude changed. She blamed me that I convinced her.

Hey, I'm trying to innoculate and harden her before their marketing gets to her first.
