This deal is available at Walmart in-store only using Brickseek. Brickseek is a site that checks local retailers for clearance items. Use SKU 640065776. https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/?sku=640065776

The box contains a key to redeem on steam. Isthereanydeal.com has the historical low for online retailers at $24.99. This is less than half that price.

50 miles away in Portsmouth, VA. :(

But that an awesome Hot Deal! Thanks!

2 copies at my Walmart...hmm. Don't know anything about the game though. Might have to look into it.

Appreciate this OP. Currently obsessed with the first game and so I'll grab this to have it ready!

Really? Pillars 1 one didn't feel very diablo clonish to me. Mechanics feel closer in 2? I'd say it's probably more close to balder's gate.

Yeah, definitely more a Baldur's Gate-styled game than Diablo. Either way, it's a good game and worth a pick up.

Its a cdkey for a game i sold but whoops posted it in here. Looks like someone claimed it. GG

The game sold to me, and thanks ahole who claimed it. hope you enjoy it.

ssnyder28, can you confirm that vnplayer was the target?

vnplayer, send me your email and I'll forward you the email from humble bundle to claim the key (which I haven't done yet, and I hope lets you actually grab it)

Yes he is, thank you for your honesty

Not a problem, just mindlessly followed the link...From the looks of the email from humble, he should be fine..it contains the unclaimed key, AFAICT.

Now I just need him to send me his email address...

EDIT: sent him the link here via PM.

You're the man. Thanks

Lol way to get that resolved guys. [H] brethren ftw.

Anywho, I stopped by walmart on my way home last night.. to my surprise they still had a small PC gaming section, within which i found this game on clearance as reported. $10.61 out the door.

It was such a surreal experience being in a store, looking at PC games, picking up this glorious title, reading the box... took me back to my childhood going to CompUSA to simply marvel at all the games, read the boxes, and never really buy any of them lol

I couldn't even tell you the last time I purchased a physical game. Fun throwback!

What is that roundish thing on the right? And where's the steam key?!
I actually looked to see if it had the ole black and white "PC CD-ROM" logo thing, and was surprised to see they updated it to say "PC DVD-ROM"

There is a disclaimer on the box which says that steam is required, so it's a little strange to have a disc in there. I wouldn't be surprised if Obsidian did this awesome throwback presentation just for the sake of nostalgia. It sure worked on me!

And there's a steam key sticker opposite the disc

I'm confused. online it says 59.99 but the local place is going to have it on clearance. I don't know if I should bother. Maybe when the little ones are in bed.

Update: My walmart had 4 copies of the game. I picked up one. Cheap. The PC gaming section was very small.

I looked at all the console titles being sold for bargain price $59.58. I have never regretted staying with PC gaming. PC software goes on discount/sale far more often for AAA titles than the other guys.

Those prices remind each visit as to why I've abandoned consoles all together. Too much money.

Sheesh looks exactly like diablo to me. But apparently saying that triggers everyone.
Ha, Diablo is all about the RNG grind. Pillars is about story and character development (in ways for than just leveling skills), and choices and consequences. (I played pillars 1)

Anyways thanks OP. Snagged a copy
