Diablo now on GOG for $10

This is just Blizzard milking the series. I'm not going to spend even a $1 to play this old ass a game. If should just be $.50 cents or free. Yes, I had fun when I was a boy playing the game. There are better evil themed games to be spend your time on. I've already put in my 100 hours for that title.

If someone buys this at $10 and plays it for 2 hours, they're getting a better deal than seeing a movie. At least here in LA where the cheapest theaters are generally $12. On that line it's still less money than most DVD movies or Blu-Rays, other than bargain bin trash. Saying a company is milking an old product makes very little sense. If I buy a Kurosawa film "at full price" am I just getting milked because the films are 50 years old, or can't I just genuinely be a fan of his work?

Maybe there is something I'm missing here, but looking at cost and valuation, I think it's pretty darn good.

This game is easily worth $10. I already have my original copy so I didn't need to rebuy it but I would rebuy it in a heartbeat if I lost my install disc.

I guess I just moved on from loving Diablo. I gave it my love and time already. No need to go back for me. If I lost my disc I would not replace it. Other publishers give out some freebies [Origin] almost monthly.

I'm sure someone will dump 100 hours into diablo 2nd time around. Have fun.

You should use your resources to view it for free. 50 years damn near public domain until Congress passed a law to make it 75 years instead of 28.

I lost my Diablo CDs years ago, so $10 bux was an easy buy for me. It's amazing how so many memories of playing Diablo all night with friends came flooding back as soon as I fired up the game, earlier today. Hope GOG offers Diablo 2, soon.

How well does the shiny new "high res" mode work? I've never played the game (any version) but liked Torchlight/Torchlight II.

It's been updated some to fix that. There's also 2 versions now, original low-framerate goodness, and shiny new "high res" mode.

Path of Diablo is great if you still happen to have you DII discs
