Dell 2k 24" G-Sync (S2417DG) vs Acer 2k 27" FreeSync/G-Sync (Acer XG270HU)

I just bought Dell 2k 24" G-Sync - S2417DG and not very happy with it, mainly because its smaller and the image quality is softer than my previous ACER 25" 2k (non-adaptive sync) monitor. Thinking about replacing it with Acer XG270HU, which is a freesync but also supports G-Sync. Any thoughts? Anyone has any experience with either of them?

Great for gaming as it does 165hz as well as ULMB.

Didn't get chance to spend much time with it, the DP port died... had to return it
