SMSL A2 40Wx2 Audio Stereo Amplifier HIFI Desktop Digital Amp with Subwoofer Silver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D2X3HFT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_xwyECb9ARJ8JQ

Can anyone answer a couple questions about this amp?

1. This amp is meant to be connected to a powered amp correct?

2. My sub has a standard RCA input. What do I use to connect it to this amp?

3. If I just set windows to stereo this amp should distribute bass to the sub?

Thanks for looking.

Ok so my sub is powered. So it won't work?

I need an amp with a pre out?

1. no.. its a powered amp. just 3.5mm to RCAs from your PC
2. 3.5mm to RCA sub cable
3. Yes should

I assumed your sub was powered since a non-powered sub would not have RCA input. I am doing the same thing with my TRA-160 amp (which is like the SMSL w/out the sub out) but instead using a XFi usb sound card w/ sub out to my powered Klipsch sub using a standard 3.5mm to rca. You need a powered sub to use the sub out on that amp so you should be good to go with the cable going from 3.5mm of the SMSL sub out to RCA of the sub amp.

Perfect. So the sub output is just a 3.5mm? That's easy.
