Wow got official driver works great now went to upgrade 5 hours later online update I get scannow says corrupted files can't repair. Dism also fails. Downloaded win 10 on usb tried again same results. Only one option left scratch install want to bet it fails too? WTF is wrong with 1809? MS ought to just pull the damn thing.....

I have really really tried to like windows 10, and there are still plenty of things I like about it. However, I have just started assuming that windows is going to eat itself at any moment and have to make sure that all my data is taken care of outside of the workstation. Windows 10 has basically pushed us backwards to the 1980's mainframe way of working with data.

actually i bet a clean install of 1809 works just fine......its just not the best build for updating from another build

just scratch installed 1809 and no integrity errors now come hours of reinstalling everything what a PIA . Probably all the the driver force installs corrupted windows...

My windows was corrupted twice from updates... tried all CMD functions until my only option was to reformat. Not with every update I'm super nervous

I went to display settings today (on 1809) and the menu items started corrupting. Went for immediate reboot but lets see if this thing will self destruct.

If you can get into Windows, try system restore. If that doesn't work download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool and try to repair Windows.

W10 almost failed on my a 3rd time couple weeks back when Windows Firewall, Defender and subsequently Norton Firewall and Windows Store (including XBOX app which meant my games purchased from Windows Store) all stopped working.

I couldn't get the services to even start using Admin Tools

I had to use Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to get Windows Firewall to work which fixed Windows Defender and Norton Firewall. Somehow its all tied to Windows Firewall.

Then I had run some commands via PowerShell to ununistall/reinstall Windows Store.

Shouldn't have to go through all this trouble for what should a stable OS. Never had so many issues with an OS ever.
