I just want some thoughts on what card to get next. I'm gaming on 1440p with Gsync.

I'm thinking on a RTX2070 or RTX2080. The Ti is way off my budget.

Best

The 2080 is a little faster than the 1080 Ti, which will allow you to maximize graphics in modern games at 2560x1440 while still getting high framerates. The 2070 is fine if you want to stick around 60 FPS or turn down some settings to achieve higher framerates. If you are at all interested in ray tracing then I would recommend nothing less than the 2080.

I have been running a Titan X since it came out...… Best money I have spent in a long time. However today I pulled the trigger on an EVGA 2080 TI FTW3 Ultra Gaming. I will let you know how it shakes out tomorrow when I get the card installed.

Asus P67 SaberTooth
Intel I7 2600k @ 4.7ghz 1.325vcore
8GB Gskill Ripjaws 24-8-8-8
Custom Watercooling
EVGA Titan X Superclocked
Evga SR2 1200w PSU

Is the 2080Ti going into your sig rig? It'd be interesting to compare the performance of your new card vs if you'd kept the Titan X and used the funds for a new CPU, MOBO & Ram.

Are you playing on 4k or a 120+ Hz monitor?

Rig in Sig, is old, running a ryzen 2700x now with 16gb ddr4 , Running 60hz 1440p

Well, reporting back after a day or two with the new 2080ti, All I can say is what a difference! I should have upgraded a long time ago. I can now run most games using 4k DSR downscaled to 1440p with all settings cranked to the nuts and hold a solid 60+ fps. Now the true question was it worth the price premium? time will tell... Anyone looking to upgrade from a titan x to this should do so immediately!

You effectively doubled your performance. The Titan Xp was more than 60% faster than the GTX Titan X, and the 2080 Ti is 30-40% faster than the Titan Xp.
