Radeon 7 (Vega 2, 7nm, 16GB) - $699 available Feb 7th with 3 games

Anyone seen one under water yet? I know on the Nvidia side of things the kraken or custom brackets are broken out for near release day testing.

I got mine. Gonna put it in the system in a second.

First impressions of the design are good. Looked plain in the pictures but the whole thing is solid metal, it feels really premium.

This thing is a beast!!! New games running at 4K60 FreeSync, no problems.

Tried Battlefield 5, Far Cry 5, Prey, DOOM, Wolfenstein II, all at 4K max settings.

Since this is a FreeSync TV, I capped FPS at 58 and it was mostly staying locked there. A few scenes dropped to around 52 on the low, but within FreeSync range.

Also, I have been promoting high refresh (and I still like it) but 60Hz at 4K is acceptable. I think my system was jacked, or there was some sort of Crossfire stutter, cause the experience is noticeably better with Radeon VII.

For sure, switching from Vega 64 Crossfire to single Radeon VII is a win. I'll have to do some more tests later this week but my first impression is that AMD has delivered 4K with no compromise.

I was gonna go this route but I got a really good deal on used zotac amp 2080ti. For another 200 since I paid no tax. It was a no brainer since it does freesync too. May be next time I will go AMD.

I bought Nvidia 1080TI FE /w H50 mod /w box stock cooler all goodies, I think $550 6 month's ago or

so, And I heard of 7nm and Amd having good card, yeah she loves her power in return she gives more performance.

I've never bought a new tech, My uncle was teaching me computer's, and I've always just bought, Last Gen's Tech and Save Few Buck's,

I got in wreck back in April 2018, Paid Settlement, I've never been in spot, have my gaming dreams met lol,

I have Samsung Nu 75" /w Freesync /w VVR , It has Freesync 2! Everything is so smooth, my GTX 1080TI FE I never could get it to work.

I was always one never touched console, Bought BF5 Limited Edition, and been having blast lol, but Xbox one X has pretty good GFX for console

Just finished uploading a Radeon VII 4K gameplay video.

Great Video, every game looked really smooth. Frame times were exceptional though out most of the games.

Your Video is also the first look that I have had at Metro Exodus. The first two guys you took out win awards for the worst guards ever :) The second guard was looking at you taking the first guy down asking was he alright lol.

It was also my first look at Crackdown 3. Meh. I think I prefer the gritty look of the first one.

Thanks. I was trying to play some new games for the video, not the same tired ones everyone benches.

Metro Exodus is really good so far. The first 2 are great games, you should play if you haven't yet. I actually had to try a bunch of times, the guards were killing me like crazy, I got lucky that time.

Crackdown 3 is a lot of fun. I think the cartoon look fits the game style (there are tons of gritty games, this isn't one of them).

Thanks for watching.

No, it was great to watch gameplay not just standard run throughs. So Kudos on that.

I love the Metro games, the only reason I haven't bought the new one yet is that I am deciding if I will pick up a Turing card or not, the trouble is the only Turing card that interests me is the 2080Ti and it's a little rich for me. I have a 1080ti. I have loads of stuff to catch up on so I might wait until the next gen of card releases before playing Exodus. :)

Your Welcome.

I'm ready to buy in a few weeks but afraid all the prices which I see now for available cards will be $800 and up.
