Hey all,

Selling a used WASD Code with MX Clears. Great keyboard that I used at work, but my new job doesn't allow employee-owned peripherals to plug into their machines, so they ordered another for me. Good clean condition and comes with original box and accessories.

$110 shipped

Thanks!

Ugh. I don't need a keyboard, considering I have 4 mechanical keyboards already. But, here I am asking for pics. I have a problem.

How to clears compare to blues or greens in your opinion? I like the idea of a solid tactile switch but browns are like dirty reds to me and these are supposed to be 'heavier' browns.

I noticed some shine on the keycaps in the pictures--is that because of just needing cleaning or is there that much wear?

I’ve only used clear, brown, blue and red. Clears are by far the best imo for touch typing. There’s just the right amount of heaviness to the bottom part of the switch that it’s easy to push down to actuation but not beyond it. Total key travel is 4mm but actuation happens during the top 2mm of the key travel. People say clears are heavier browns and I guess technically they are, but they feel nothing alike. Browns are nearly impossible to touch type on for me because I always bottom out -- like you said, the light weight makes it too close to being a linear switch like reds. Blues are my second favorite, but mostly for the novelty (clicky). I got my GF a 60% keyboard with blues to take to work for Christmas but only because I couldn't find anything with Clears in stock, and I think we're going to sell it and switch because it's a bit loud for her office.

The key caps are a little bit shiny, but the first pictures greatly exaggerates it due to the harsh overhead lighting -- here's one I just took in natural light:

W, A, S and D are the shiniest because I used this at home before I brought it to work
