Radeon 7 (Vega 2, 7nm, 16GB) - $699 available Feb 7th with 3 games

819 Euro. Was available but not going to bother for that price.
Such a shame and I noticed that the RTX 2080 is even cheaper .
 
I wish those buttholes would get with the program. Some of us don't have all damn morning to sit and wait around for them to get their act together.
 
I got a Sapphire, now I need read the reviews and decide if i'm going to keep my order.

I think I got one on AMD.com.
It said "You will be sent an email with your order details when it completes", which gives me pause...
 
God Fucking Dammit, I had two in two seperate windows to order and the fucker sold out in under three mins.
 
I did right it and said both my cards failed. wtf. i guess 10k in your bank is not enough
 
I use paypal now every single time and log in ahead of time too. I've had the anti fraud bullcrap blow up more than one time sensitive transaction like this. Hell no, never again.
 
Well, i think I got an order in from AMD.com, i can see the transaction in paypal, but didn't get an email yet.
 
FYI (not bragging - just stating) my order at AMD.com shows as pending with my CC, so it LOOKS like I got one.

edit: Also got the confirmation email.
 
I did it both ways, FK Wellsfargo, Today i am going close, they cost me, stuff last time.
 
Can happen with any credit card vendor. Seen it myself with citi.

I guess tweaktown says it's loud as F. :/
 
The Sapphire card was up for about 10 minutes before selling out. Not sure if the other cards ever became available.

In lieu of the Hard review, what's second best?
 
When I was mining and trying to get 1080tis in stock for "reasonable" prices. I had more than one transaction get blown up trying to get through at newegg with my citi mastercard. I gave up and started to use paypal. :p
 
Now who wants to buy a platinum V56 and a 64? both with EK blocks :-P

They will go in FS/FT as soon as I get shipping notification.

I don't know if I'd call them second best these days, but I took a quick look at Anandtech's and it seemed halfway decent. But I was going to buy regardless since I'm a hobbiest content Creator and wanted it for those purposes in addition to gaming.

Guru3d says it's too loud too, but was told by AMD their test data was off, Toms hardware said it ramps up the fans in a moment from idle to loud which is jarring.
So that's three reviewers pointing to loud fans.

Guru3d said the drivers are buggy, and they can't overclock, and performance isn't yet established equitably across all titles - so up rises that poor driver at launch caution flag again. Good luck to those that go them. Performance looks good. 1080TI level performance is adequate for 3440x1440 max settings. I've been really happy with my 1080TI and 3440x1440 combo the last year.
 
Looking like 5-10% slower than the 2080 overall which is disappointing, I was expecting it to trade blows.
