Alienware AW3418DW Ultrawide 34”, 120hz, IPS, arguably the best 34” G-Sync monitor - $800 at buydig.

I thought the point of G-Sync was that regardless of what FPS you're actually capable of pulling, G-Sync would match the displayed FPS with your refresh rate? Just wondering why is 120fps at 120hz a problem? Curious, as this is what I run, and don't really see any issues (granted, all i really play these days is COD4 Blackout and Overwatch).
It’s not a problem with this particular display, it’s a problem with G-sync if go over or under the functional g-sync range (35-120hz on this monitor) there is a momentary stutter as you leave G-sync and screen tearing can/will happen. This is on all g-sync displays.

Nvidia’s recommendation is that the user enables G-sync and enables v-sync in the Nvidia driver control panel and turns off v-sync in the game menus.

Awesome, thanks for that! I have Vsync turned off in game and in the Nvidia control panel. Havn't really been experiencing screen tearing so I'll probably just keep it that way. I did change my FPS cap in-game to 118 though, just incase.

FYI, Finally dug into the problem and was able to resolve the issues.

I turned on the monitors FPS counter and did the same on the drivers. As expected the numbers where off. I did enable g-sync on the drivers in all the locations but was still tearing pretty badly.

What worked for me was overclocking the monitor to 120hz, then ultimately removing the FPS cap in games. When the game was capped at 120 it was almost fine but I would still see occasional tearing. With max FPS unlocked I see no tearing at all. Ohh and make sure Windows is also set to 120hz

So I guess the biggest tip I have for other who are purchasing this monitor is enable FPS counter on monitor and in driver and make sure these two numbers match up. In my case monitor counter was on the left side and driver's was on the right. Being able to see what each side was doing made the whole process much easier.

Monitor is awesome! Highly recommended! No way I can go back to anything else!
