I pre-ordered the Legion of Dawn edition. If the game ends up sucking, I'm only out $80. No big deal.

Freudian slip, of just a slip of the finger?I haven't bought a video card to play a specific game in a long time. My 1070 was just too slow at 3440x1440. So I ordered a MSI 2080 Gaming X Saturday and it'll be here today. Really wanted the MSI 2080ti Lightning Z, but hard to justify the price or any 2080ti when it's so far above MSRP. And the 2080 finally dipped below MSRP.
I received a game code today for Battlefield V and Anthem. I subscribe to Origin Premium so I already have both. They were not advertised on Amazon, but I got them anyway. Just a heads up if anyone is interested and debating buying a jew card and Anthem.
Like the above poster said, I too got better at flying. Tweaking the settings and practice. BFV still takes up most of my time, but I will be playing this too. On the PS4 and PC like most games. Leveling up two different systems is very annoying, because they never let me just use one account for each system. Really annoying.
Not sure what you're talking about...?
I wish they had given us more time since we got a late start because they didn't plan well enough.
Funny how experiences vary, I had very few bugs.
Either way, I ain't stressing over shit that hasn't hit the shelves yet.
Going to play it thru the origin sub model and if it takes a few weeks/months to fix things I really dont care.
That said I wouldn't pay $80 outright for it. Or any other game fr that matter.
Sorry. Not sure what you're talking about...?

Anyway, the public demo is this weekend so we'll all get another crack at it in a few days.Just a heads up if anyone is interested and debating buying a jew card and Anthem.
BioWare is lifting the ban on running in Anthem's Fort Tarsis
BioWare’s heard the feedback, and a run speed will be added for launch...the reason Fort Tarsis is currently a no-running zone is because BioWare wanted players to feel human, in contrast to how superhuman they feel when piloting the Javelins...

Good to have options.
Personally I was fine with the movement speed at FT in the Demo last weekend.
Fuck that. Its a BioWare game. You'll have to run around and do fetch quests, etc. all the time and talk to tons of NPC's and go through all their dialog. You won't want to be RP walking through all of that shit. I hated it in the demo.
We’re hard at work to be ready for our public demo weekend, starting 2/1...This week has been focused on improving the player experience in the demo – that focus was based on our learnings and your feedback...For those of you that played last weekend, you should see significant improvement in multiple areas over last week
If you are a returning VIP demo player, you’ll keep your progression from VIP weekend...That includes your Javelins, pilot level, and all gear, weapons, and customizations...

I hope they fixed the draw distance on the enemies, sniping is rather pointless when they only appear once you're in pistol range.Gotta give them this, they seem to be trying.

Pistol range is an exaggeration, but I agree. It's tragic to have such an open world and not being able to take advantage of it strategically.I hope they fixed the draw distance on the enemies, sniping is rather pointless when they only appear once you're in pistol range.
Alright, I cannot disagree. Even one of the newer videos that displayed footage shows a Javelin flying into an area over a lake and the flying/winged enemies only spawn once the player is in primary weapons range. Now, I used the pistol as an example because it has the same effective range as an assault rifle. Basically, the enemies have to see you or you can't snipe them. Kind of defeats the purpose of being a sniper no?Pistol range is an exaggeration, but I agree. It's tragic to have such an open world and not being able to take advantage of it strategically.
I only used the auto pistols admittedly, which were impossible to use more than 15 feet away due to the recoil. I was on the fence about carrying the sniper rifle, but I tried it out and liked it for precision shots on some of the bigger enemies with the shields. It really let me get around their armor nicely. Problem was, every time I zoomed in to take a shot, I would get one... perhaps two shots before they were on top of me. If I backed up too far, they would simply disappear. If you're soloing, I really don't want to close to knife fighting ranges until I've softened up the enemy force.I only used the auto pistols admittedly, which were impossible to use more than 15 feet away due to the recoil. They've made some changes from what I've read. It's probably ready to go out the gate.I'll try and take another stab at it. This public demo will be updated/newer than what was put out a week or two ago? When should I attempt to download it?

There is\was a small patch after last weeks VIP demo. I'm using Origin Access - so it started once I logged in to that.
I don't have Origin Access. What does that mean for me?
Not Much, people with Origin Access or their Premium Service get to play the game on the 15th. It's just another way to get you to pay another 100 bucks to play 7 days early...I don't have Origin Access. What does that mean for me?

Ja, assault rifles seem to be what they balanced around. I got this slow firing green assault rifle that was able to take out trash mobs in 1-2 headshots. None of the blues I subsequently got could match it in time to kill.Sniping was pointless as it takes 3 hits for super weak enemies. I was shooting these spider crab things and it took 9 shots (3x reloads) to put one of those down. Everything is too bullet spongy for sniper rifles to feel remotely satisfying. In fact, I still maintain most of the weapons aren't satisfying to use. Not just because of the bullet sponge effect, but because the audio and visuals of the weapon impacts just aren't there to add that extra oomph to make those weapons feel right.
