Time to overclock

So it’s time to oc my 2700X. It’s running on a Asus prime x470 with 2x8 Corsair rgb 3200 non pro (16-19-19-36?).

Running stock it will boost to 4.05-4.1 at over 1.4v. Temps are fine with h100i gtx.

So I guess my questions are with should I be looking at for volts for the cpu?

What is the safe ram voltage?

Any other voltage I need to change?

I would leave it be. Have you turned on PBO2 and XFR2? With those on you should get about what you would get with an overclock. Zen+ with those on is better then an overclock usually due to the fact that when its not being used it will clock down and that will save some power and system thermals.

I thought I enabled pbo2 and xfr2, but I’m not sure. Shouldn’t it clock higher if they are enabled?

What about ram overclocking? I don’t have b die, but if I raised the volts I could probably tighten up the timings.

Ya, check if you have it enabled. Its only going to boost as high as you have thermal headroom. If the temps get too high for it it will stop going higher. Also try working on the timings if possible on that ram.

Safe RAM voltage could be 1.4V tops if your RAM's XMP lists 3200 at 1.35V (most likely).
You should first check and enable XMP (D.O.C.P.) and see what voltage the mobo sets automatically. It might be 1.4 already.
I wouldn't OC RAM (much) higher than its stock XMP though because RAM problems are among the hardest to pinpoint. 3200 is good enough if you look after stability.

2933Mhz I found very stable if I down clocked from 3200Mhz memory on Gen 1 Ryzen with CL 16 timings at 1.35v

That should I expect for max single and multi core clocks with pb and xfr enabled?

I still think that its better to use PBO2 and XFR2 versus overclocking on Zen+. Kyle even came to that same conclusion.
