it still works but ......

so bought this 10 yrs ago or something still works PERFECTLY till today i was just wondering if i build a new pc will all the connectors and such still work and be able to handle new technology? im thinking of new amd 3000 plus with amd 7nm gpu and x570 motherboard ram etc...thanks

Yeah it should but you are risking it. At 10 years the caps are aging and could leak or cause problems. A brand new gold 80+ PSU is $50-60, if you're building a new system to last another 4-5 years don't put a 10 year old PSU in it.

10 years? Get a new one. Seasonic platinum or titanium

I also recommend going with a new PSU. I was in the same situation when I recently built my new PC. I went with a new EVGA to replace my older Corsair.
