1080 Ti for $99

All but one of the accounts I listed on the first page are "no longer a registered user".

I can say with certainty that you truly never know for sure on these sort of things. 99.99% of them time it is likely a scan and PayPal/eBay simply refunds your money. I got in on one about 3 years ago. Seller putting $600 Wilton vises on for $200 buy it now. Myself and a dozen plus others on Garagejournal bit. Ebay ultimately cancelled the later listings but never did anything on the earlier ones. Dozens on GJ said no way, never get them, etc. Lo and behold myself and the others all got our vises. Turns out it was a liquidator that did not want to screw around and just wanted to move the product fast. The logic is that yeah they could have made a LOT more money but a LOT slower as people hem and haw about whether they can afford it right now, etc. Good enough deal and people will just jump on it a lot faster.

I bit.

Even if that isn't legit - you're only out a maximum of $80 for something that goes for 10x that much. Seems like a worthwhile gamble IMO.

Round2 :p

Which one of you degenerate gamblers is feeling lucky? Or if you're just a masochist and glutton for punishment, I got what you need.

Don't worry if you missed this "deal", you will be able to pick one up eventually for < $100...eventually.. Just be patient!

On a different note, what the fuck is up with the 1080 Ti prices jumping back up to RTX levels all of a sudden?

500 bucks for a card that could have been had for close to 1k is not a bad depreciation -- means the new cards are too expensive and not that performant

Last night some of the 1080Ti prices were as high as $1499. Today I see the evga for $1999. wtf lol. Maybe an automated pricing algorithm gone bonkers.

I tried buying one of the fake cards on XMAS (was to mess around with) and ended up getting refunded within the hour. Really cool how legitimate inactive Ebay accounts are hacked and then used for scamming purposes. These hacked accounts can have a 100% rating when the scam begins!

Nvidia discontinued their 1080 ti line. They're completely missing from their site and official partners. So it's reflecting on the retailers sites now.

simple answer to this one ... would YOU sell a GTX 1080 Ti for $99.32 ? Don't forget the $.32

Ive seen these posts on ebay.
Most were for sale by users with no ebay history.
Assumed it was a scam.
If someone actually gets one for $100 I will be super jealous!
Noticed the one Kyle bought was a highly reputable seller.
This leads me to believe maybe the sellers ebay account was hacked?

Prediction: These are actually Geforce 710's with a duct-taped bios that calls itself 1080ti
