Hello,

I am attempting to build an inexpensive, low-end machine for a family member with no funds. I am looking for any model Dell OptiPlex MT with a Core I5 or I7 processor (any gen). Prefer 8 GB of RAM but will consider configurations. I am located in Central Florida.

Thank you ...

What are you looking for, I am sure I have a Dell Opti mini for sure around here with a 4th gen i5 and 4-8GB ram

Thanks for all of your responses. I should have been more specific ... and I intend to correct that now:

A few years ago I purchased a barebones OptiPlex 790 MT off of Fleabay for $75 and built a nice, lower end gaming PC for a friend. Fast forward to today and I am attempting to do the same for a family member. I have been search through Fleabay and (apparently) the prices have gone up ... so a 5 year old barebones PC that could be had for $75 is now a 7 year old PC that is more expensive. Go figure ...

My budget is in the +/- $100 range and definitely looking for a mini tower.

I think I have one at home......this will hopefully remind me to check :)

The cost of shipping has gone up, so the cost of these eBay Optiplexes have gone up too. You'll be hard pressed to find a Mini Tower for under $100 shipped because of their weight. Still, if you are looking for the barest of barebones I did a quick search and came up with a couple hits. They are out there....

Good prices but then you have to figure in the cost of 8 GB of RAM. Thanks ...

Check fleabay again. Just purchased an inspirion witrh 1tb i5i3570 8gb for $130. I added a cheap ssd, cheap psu, and a 1050ti and for less than $300 that thing flies .

if you want something even smaller i got an optiplex micro. not $100, but i'd let it go for $225 shipped

8gb
120gb ssd
