I've seen these and was wondering if they were legit as well. I find it hard to believe someone could sell those for so cheap, even if they were used mining video cards, but these are all stated as new...they have all different models too...just different users\ebay accounts. Good Luck Kyle!

Wow....
I was just looking at 4770ks on ebay but thats crazy. Keep us posted.

Thought about it but it's clearly just a hacked account and not a price mistake. Only 80 feedback and all as a buyer.

There is 4 possiblities here:
  1. it's a complete scam, no item exists
  2. it's a fake knockoff card labelled as a 1080Ti but in reality is probably some old trash card
  3. it's legit and Kyle is a genius for buying this
  4. stolen goods sold at cheap for a quick buck

No fucking way.

Got to be either a scam, or someone is offloading failed 1080ti mining cards.

Hahaha. There are quite a few youtube vids of the fake crap listings from China.

Linus even did a build or two.. or maybe more with scam parts.

I think Philscomputerlab may have done a build from scam eBay parts as well.

This is either:
1. Complete scam and nothing will ever be shipped.
2. Only mostly a scam and some piece of trash card will be shipped

I have a family member who ordered from a scam listing before and received a much lesser card. The "seller" tried to claim that they were lied to by their supplier and tried to offer some crap partial refund.
He got his full payment back and got to keep the card.

Either way, Kyle will get his money back after definitely not getting what he ordered.

Maybe he will get what he ordered. I went back and the listing for one of the new MSI cards was changed to Dead Card fan's don't spin no screen.

Why wouldn't the scammer charge 200 instead? Still just as likely to sell out.

probably end up getting some kind of Chinese rebadged 1060

Heck, at $100, that's still worth it. It's probably a GTX 650 with a bios hack.

For $120, I might just take the risk. More than likely though, the eBay account could be hacked.

Edit:

Looks like it was pulled down.

You will get nothing, no tracking and have to file a paypal claim. The end user who hijacked the account is more interested in your name/address/email address to sell your information.

I get it...you will get your money back.

But why even give them your money in the first place? I can count on one hand the times in my life where something was actually priced too good to be true.

" can you smell what da Rock is cooking ?"

sorry if this sounds harsh, but if you are stupido enuff to buy these cards, then the only Rock that is cooking is the one in your crack pipe :)

These $99-$149 GPUs have been listed on eBay for more than a year now. Always a hacked account behind them harvesting info.
