50 anticipated games 2019

Anthem, Atomic Heart and The Outer Worlds are probably the games I will get.

my list...

Outer Worlds
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Metro Exodus
Black Mesa Xen
Division 2

My list:

Age of Wonders: Planetfall
The Division 2
Doom Eternal
Metro Exodus
The Outer Worlds
Psychonauts 2
Rage 2
Resident Evil 2
Shenmue 3
Skull & Bones

Out of those, I'm most excited about Age of Wonders: Planetfall and The Outer Worlds.

The percentage shows my excitement level for each game.

Babylon's fall: 15% (too little information to get excited)
Control: 50% (I liked Alan Wake, but still this could go either way)
Doom Eternal: 10% (I found the new doom to be extremely well polished, and fluid, but utterly boring and uninteresting, never even finished it)
Far Cry New Dawn: 20% (i ultimately hated FC5, but the gameplay was solid for the parts were the game didn't force your hand)
Mechwarrior 5: 30% (Cautiously optimistic, I wanted a good mech game since Earthsiege II, will this be it?)
Outer Worlds: 75% (Well it came out of nowhere, and I don't know enough yet to get 100% hyped up about it)
Rage 2: 50% (I loved mad max, so it basically comes down whether it wants to be like rage which was like doom: utterly boring and uninteresting, or like mad max, fun and engaging)
Jedi Fallen Order: 5% (no info, but looking out for anything that might hint it's the next Dark Forces / Jedi Knight game, realistically it will be some nerfed multiplayer coop experience with disney values)

Everything else from the list : 0%

I would give at least 15% for New Blood, if it wasn't coop only, this way it's off the list.

Metro Exodus was there which I am looking forward to. Control and Outer World look interesting to me. That being said, probably about 10 of those were survival/RPG games. Kind of shows you where the money is.

That said the game I'm looking forward to most is coming out next month and not on the list!

No mention of Cyberpunk 2077? Bad list.
That's because Top10/15/25/50/whatever lists are the OG of clickbait. Their purpose is not to be concise or thorough or have invested a lot of effort. Their purpose is to lure people in and then scatter the shit across 25 pages so that each click-to-next is a separate page impression. Hell, Top lists predate the internet since they were the thing magazines did.

Hell, there's probably software that auto generates the HTML for the entire TopXX articles - all the pages - with just some basic, seed elements slopped in, or just scraped and rearranged from previous articles.
