Hi all

Ran across a deal I need to know if it's good or not.

2070 for $435 (plus taxes) good price? (I'm in Canada so it's currently $594). Comes with a copy of BF5.

Zotac GeForce RTX 2070 Graphic Card - 1.62 GHz Boost Clock - 8GB GDDR6 - Dual Slot Space Required - 256 bit Bus Width - Fan Cooler - OpenGL 4.5, DirectX 12.1 - 3 x DisplayPort - 1 x HDMI - 1 x Total Number of DVI (1 x DVI-D) - PC - 4 x Monitors Supported

if it is 435 us dollads then it sounds like a great deal

I always found blowers fine if you run stock. Aka rigs I build for relatives.

The blower is fine for up to 175W or so, the "typical" x70 gen card like 970 or 1070, which are 150W cards.

The 2070 uses a bit more power (200W range). So it will be a bit more thermally limited and best left stock for sure.

For myself I would rather get normal design than blower one
Tough with 200W maximum TDP (after rising TDP limit to maximum) it should by no means be terrible when it comes to noise levels.

Blower design have some advantages though: it blows hot air out of computer case and dual/triple fan designs keep it mostly inside. If case is small and crammed it might not be that bad of a choice.
