So, what I am trying to do is find a 6-core (i7-8750H) laptop that doesn't have dedicated graphics and great battery life with Thunderbolt 3.
I want to go with a eGPU solution, but all of the laptops that would work with a setup like that are all Quad-Core 8th gen i7 or i5 processors and it seems like the only 6-core processor laptops with 4 lane TB3 all have dedicated GPUs making them heavy and thick... which is exactly what I don't want.
The ideal situation would be to have a thin and light 6-core laptop that has good battery life, and that has full 4-lane TB3 so I can plug into a external graphics card when I get home.
Is there anything at all like this or is it one or the other?
