Cliff Bleszinski Teases New Career News: It's "Not Game Related at All"

Following the failure of LawBreakers and the shuttering of his studio, Boss Key, Cliff Bleszinski hinted he would be quitting the video game industry, and recent tweets suggest it’s slowly becoming official: Bleszinski mentioned yesterday he had “new career-related news coming soon” that isn’t “game-related at all.” One fan asked if he was truly distancing himself from gaming, to which he replied, “Just kinda over it, buddy, honestly. Sh*t is toxic AF.”

When Boss Key shut down earlier this year, Bleszinski said he'd "take some time off and reflect" but assured fans that "video games will forever be a part of who I am and I hope to make something new again someday". Last month, however, after a heated exchange with a disgruntled fan, Bleszinski said he would "NEVER" make another video game and it seems Bleszinski very much meant what he said.
 
I've never been able to stand the guy since he guested on Something Awful way back when.
 
Didn't he start a brewery the last time he left? Maybe he is opening a whiskey distillery... I mean that was my childhood dream. Respect to the guy, his game wasn't horrible and he made sure all his devs got paid and found new jobs before shutting down.

His face was all over Gears of War 1 videos. I really liked Gears of War for 360, but all the GoW videos on 360 was basically him. He became the face of the company for a short period of time.

If Epic hadn't abandoned classic properties like Unreal for shit like Fortnite, maybe CliffyB coulda gone back to his old job of just making levels. Maybe it's time for Jazz Jackrabbit 3 (and I don't mean that canceled 3D game). I mean shiat, if I had the kind of money he has, I wouldn't do a damn thing but sit on my ass, especially after many years of crunch periods during game development.
 
He’s definitely got both attention-whore and whiny bitch down to a science.

I think I’d like to see a boxing match between him and Derek Smart.

That’s a win-win every time a punch lands.

LOL, the only people that say "the dark souls of..." are games "journalists". "need for speed is the dark souls of racing", "cuphead is the dark souls of side scrollers", etc...
