Bitcoin Shoots Up to Over $3400

Is [H] now going to report every percent change in cryptocurrency? Someone must be invested. Hopefully this doesn't turn into an issue here.

Because investing is always a guaranteed gain right?

Historical trends on the S&P500, long term, has been about a 10% or so average gain. Nothing is guaranteed, but history has been pretty consistent. You can choose to put your money into solid companies who make and sell real products for real money, or you can put your money into some lines of computer code that someone decided to call a “currency”, backed by nothing, and cross your fingers and hope that someone pays you more for it without any rhyme or reason. Your call, I really don’t care what you do.

According to CoinMarketCap, about 5 billion US dollars in cryptocurrency was spontaneously created in just over 1 hour on Monday.

5 billion DOLLARS in crypto? I dun think so ... it's still virtual money, not hard cold cash

Btc did better than a majority of the stocks today.

Thanks for the update Kyle.

Can we find out how much USDT was printed recently? BAHAHAHA. I got no beef with H. Love all the reporting but surprised to see a 200 dollar BTC jump is has its own thread lol. Pump is evident, it wont be red forever. I actually expect a pump to even 5k or above before we see the real bottom. Capitulation is yet to occur. I do think we will see sub 2k bitcoin next year.

Bitcoin rebounding is news. Sorry several people are shocked by this. As stated, you don’t have to read it and if it’s such an inconvenience to read even though you don’t want to - why add to the effort and post?

Anyways, hope the bottom is finally in and we can climb a bit. Unfortunately governments have regulated the hell out of it and killed it because they are afraid of losing control of an important thing- MONEY.

People should stop crying over the old gpu price they paid and mourn the death of a truly government independent currency. Stop thinking so small.

The 5 billion dollar injection in 1 hour is pretty newsworthy IMO
Yes and it was common earlier in the year. It's merely big money trying to trick people into buying. That shit is dead and a better coin needs to replace it.

Another coin won’t make any difference. All crypto is regulated identically and being crushed by all almost all big governments. Smaller countries such as in Africa, Bitcoin is used as a replacement currency due to its convenience. proliferation of smartphone apps that utilize bitcoin make transactions easy for people without credit cards. Making bitcoin more dominate than the native currency in some cases. This is what makes large financial institutions and their associated governments afraid of bitcoin.

And if u understand that “bitcoin cash” is a competitor to bitcoin then you would have further insight. At the end of the article you posted he obviously has an anti-bitcoin and pro-bitcoin cash agenda.

Why talk about the real stock market loosing years of gains when we have crypto coming back strong! Gotta have a good news story somewhere. It’s x-mas time after all

Investors purchasing on a low. As I've said: Bitcoin is an investment, not a currency, This was predictable.
An investment in what? If it's not a currency, then it's worthless and as a currency, it's too unstable for much other than gambling.

Bitcoin now at $3850. Imagine if you invested your $100.000 a few days ago, now you'd have $120.000, $20.000 in a few days is what makes men!
