Looking at replacing my aging Logitech G9x mouse and am having some trouble deciding on which mouse would come closest to replicating it. I've looked at the Logitech G502 series and a few others. I would like the mouse to be wired also. I appreciate any ideas.

I'm using the G502 at work. Love the free wheel scroll for working with Excel. I believe BestBuy had the proteus version for 35$ a few weeks back. Mostly out of stock in stores now and not available for shipping. Maybe still available in your area. I was looking for one myself and went with G602 wireless until another deal rolls around for the G502.

Thanks for the reply. I thought about using a wireless mouse more and will look into the G602.

Try the Razor Basilisk. It's the closest I've gotten to my old G9X.

I really liked my old G9 and thought that the Logitech G303 was a great modern replacement for it. Certainly much much closer in shape than the G502/602/etc.

I still am using the G9 but I'm getting closer to replacing it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ended up getting a HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro. Shopped around quite a bit and this one was comfortable plus it matches my Hyper X keyboard nicely.
