Is there a way to monitor CPU (Ryzen) temperature on a consumer graded ESXI server?

I just built a new Ryzen 1700x ESXI server using ASUS GA-AX370-Gaming (rev. 1.x) as the motherboard.


On my other ESXI server, Dell R420, under Monitor -> Hardware -> System sensors, I can see the CPU temperature.


However on this new Ryzen 1700x ESXI server, when I go to the same page, I see a message that says "This system has no IPMI capabilities, you may need to install driver to enable sensor data to be retrieved".


Is there a way to monitor CPU temperature on my Ryzen ESXI server?


Ryzen ESXI server is running ESXi-6.7.0-8169922-standard and Dell R420 is running DellEMC-ESXi-6.7.0-8169922-A01

Im a amd guy all the way, but have you considered switching gears to intel nucs? A lot of the guys on my team use them for test environments and swear by them. no drama, and they work out of the box.
 
HWiNFO64 will no doubt be able to, and also has a "Server" function for you to monitor it remotely, if this is a suitable option for you.
If you've ever used it before, on initial load there is a small window providing some options... One is to start it in "Sensor Mode" which does just that, only providing sensor output and not all of the other system details like what AIDA4 has. (AIDA64 also, as I recall, has a remote-monitoring ability too, though, but I know that HWiNFO64 is the one program I can reliably read temps with and know they're right. HWMonitor for example, is one I make sure to steer people away from)

Probably not going to switch to Intel NUCS. This is a Ryzen 1700x server that I just build recently. Thanks for your suggestion though.

The remote feature requires HWiNFO64 to be installed on the machine that you wish to monitor. HWiNFO64 is a Windows application and cannot be installed on the ESXI server so that's not a viable option unless there is some part that I don't understand. Thanks for your suggestion though.
