Maybe, albeit gpu market is stupid the last year or so. Bought my MSI gtx 1080 ti gaming x for $650 on 10/1, and looked on Newegg last week they were going for like $1,200.Considering I paid 450 for a BNIB 1080, it's good to see this next gen at a somewhat reasonable price.
A few more months and you'll see them at 399.
That was the BestBuy price mistake? Not sure if that’s a valid metric for historical price comparisons. 1080 dropped to $500 after 1080Ti launched but that was a year later.Considering I paid 450 for a BNIB 1080, it's good to see this next gen at a somewhat reasonable price.

Probably closer to April/May when we see the new AMD GPUs drop.It was from someone on the forum who had 4, new, never opened.
Yeah, it was a deal. They were 500-550 retail at the time. Should not have been, but they were.
Between the RTX fiasco, AMD new products, nVidia taking a huge hit in the market, and overall saturation, I stand by my 2070 @ 399 before the end of Q1 2019.
Yeah but this is the same performance basically as your 1080, what a burn how long later?Considering I paid 450 for a BNIB 1080, it's good to see this next gen at a somewhat reasonable price.
