I've decided to sell my spare/second 3D printer. I bought a newer MK3 model and can't justify keeping both due to space. So, my PRUSA I3 MK2S is up for sale:

This printer was purchased new last year. The quality of the prints it produces are identical to that of the MK3 in every way - I see ZERO quality differences and I own both models. The MK3 just has a bunch of nice usability enhancements like an upgraded magnetic print bed and upgraded electronics. For those that are wondering, the MK2S differs from the MK2 in that it also has the following upgraded parts to increase reliability/performance:
  • Polished smooth rods
  • 10x LM8UU bearings
  • 3x U-bolts for LM8UU mounting
This printer is in fantastic/like new shape with a total run time logged of just 38 days which many would consider lightly broken in:

It's not uncommon to rack up 10,000+ hrs on one as this printer is a true workhorse. Again, it's in pristine shape, fully assembled, tested/proven and fully dialed-in. I've also upgraded it with a hardened steel print nozzle to replace the stock brass nozzle.

Some pics of it in action are here on the [H] (note the enclosure doesn't come with it, just the printer!):

"As is" this printer currently sells for $899 + ~$70 shipping and a 1 month "prep" delay from the folks at Prusa.

Right now I would really prefer a local buyer that could pick it up as I have no idea how I would go about trying to box/send something this large/fragile. Besides costing a fair bit to ship, bouncing around in the mail would probably also really screw up the frame alignment/calibration.

I live in the Minneapolis area (Plymouth, MN).

Asking $550 for it. For a fellow [H]'er, I'll also deliver (within a 25 mile radius), set it up and show you how it works for free.

Ordered assembled/new from PRUSA with a hardened steel nozzle, this would run you $1000 right now + plus the 6-8 week delay to ship/arrive.

Comes with all manuals/accessories. I'll also throw in a roll of filament.
