I'm skeptical that this thing is actually helpful, and kind of apprehensive that it might actually break something.... not sure how.
I'm talking about the process described here, for example:

So definitely the first 5 are basically useless for me. The only one that might be helpful is the last one, "other Windows settings". What does that entail? Does it capture things like customized Windows sounds, for example? (On the laptop I'm replacing I got annoyed with the default dings and changed most of the sounds at one point.)
I'm not sure if this thing will actually save me any appreciable time.. (I suspect no?)
