Sure, but when you can't play a game but can on Windows, what are you going to do? It's been 20 years of 'Linux is so great', but reality is it's OK, and most people will take playing all games over playing an OK amount of games.
It's not 20 years ago and Linux is fantastic, Windows 10 is 'great'. There is absolutely no doubting that in a very short period of time Linux has become the second most viable PC gaming platform, that's no small achievement. As stated in another thread, considering gaming as a whole, Linux has more titles than Xbox and PS4 'combined'. Even if half of those titles were garbage, which they are not - Linux still has more titles than either Xbox or PS4 'not including the vast number of titles available via Steam Play/Vulkan' that are every bit as simple to install and run as native Windows titles under Steam with great performance.
Forget 20 years ago, everyone else has.
