So here's the short story my previous Polk PSW505 sub died last week it lost all sound regardless of source and the LED light on the back is red regardless of input or settings. I had previously had this same exact issue a few years ago and Polk audio replace the amp for free under warranty a little under 2 years ago (although it took almost 2 months to get the amp from them). Being that is no longer under warranty and replacing the amp is around 120-150 I might as well buy a new one.

So before we get started this is what I had my previous amp hooked up for my 2.1 pc setup

Sound Blaster X7 DAC with Burson V5i op amps
2 x Audioengine A2+ speakers

I don't know anything about subs or brands and don't want to spend more then 260.00 (the cheaper the better tbh) I mostly used my setup for music and gaming (rare when I used it for movies) and this is for my bedroom PC.

I looked into the Monoprice 109723 last week it has decent reviews and its under 140.00 with tax. I had also order the Bic Acoustech PL-200 II sub last Friday until USPS decided to lose the package on its way here today (thanks idiots).
So we me losing packages left and right (FedEx also lost my AMD Vega 64 on Wends of last week as well o_O:confused::()
I will like to get some options on a decent sub anywhere between 100-260.00 any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping whatever you guys recommend I can go to frys/Best Buy and pick it up since I'm on a bad streak of packages getting lost.

For that budget you're best to DIY if you really want something serious. Could probably swing a 12-15" DIY with a used/existing amp. Or just look at used stuff.
No replacement for displacement, all the fake tech tricks in the world can't move more air than a larger sub with greater x-max.

p.s. sounds like you have a 'friendly' fedex driver, maybe time to change delivery services.

DIY is a good option but requires craftman skills and knowledge to design the enclosure / pick the driver.

Can get prebuilt boxes though not sure if in price range these days.

If the speaker is still good (and it probably is) just bypass the internal amp. Can replace it with a new plate amp or a traditional external amp with speaker wire. That would be your cheapest option by far.
