The NVIDIA GeForce Hot Fix driver version 417.21 has been released and it addresses the following issues. Memory Data Rate reporting incorrect value in NVIDIA Control Panel. Microsoft Edge does not respond after playing back video. Can't apply color format after updating to driver 417.01.

jesus please bless Nvidia with NEW working drivers some day ..its all i want for christmas.... oh and a free 2080 card

prayers sent ..that wont be answered ;)

hey at least they admit drivers are a work in progress i guess ?

Yea but not a 2080ti please.. I don't want the headache.
nope nope nope i don't want a 2080 ti ..just a 2080 would be fine ....oh an maybe santa and jesus will buy me a i 7 7770 K to max out my Z 270 board and oc the piss out of it ..i gotta keep praying ..or hope i get a decent X mas bonus this yr

and wap just got smacked in the head by the wife ..she said all i get is coal ...

Their last drivers gave me the lockups, it takes forever to clean up nVidia's drivers to get a fully clean install. I'll pass on this one.

im still on 388.71 ..as every driver past that sucked on my gigabyte gtx 1060..also love a god damn vid driver is half a gig or more now

Gotta be the driver size and install time that makes Nvidia so much faster than amd. All amd needs to do is make their drivers a solid 1GB and 45 minutes to install.

Wow. Yeah, I couldn't figure out why Edge was not working after going to Youtube.

I had Overwatch crashing after the last drivers on my 1080-Ti, hopefully these fix the issue.

Well with all the problems I had installing 271.01 today, yeah. Great. Get to go through that again.

Hotfix solved alot of issues with stuttering on my system.
Well they will fuck that up on the next release so dont get too comfortable. They keep pumping out drivers every few weeks and break as much shit as they fix and some issues go on for MONTHS without being fixed. Really is it that hard not to break shit that worked fine on the previous drivers and actually address issues that people have been complaining about?

first driver that has broke anything for me in along time but it seems like you have an axe to grind so have at it.

Unless you have been living under a rock then you would know that NVIDIA drivers have gotten shittier by the month for the last year or so.

not realy, they are pretty crappy for a couple years now, "luckily" every now and then there is a more or less decent/stable driver among the bunch.

Still haven't found a way to have my 2 monitor setup work without any flaws, might just have to get a 2nd 144hz g-sync monitor to fix that.

539MB hotfix, how nice. Someone needs to train Nvidia on how to issue a hotfix that only fixes the affected files, not just sloppily re-release everything in their driver package.
It's actually 1.21GB - 539MB is the compressed size.

But yes, nGreedias incompetence at modern driver making is very showing these days.

Those days are gone man. FWIW, it's probably easier to have just one installer than multiple anyway as it reduces overall complexity of getting updates.

This is an issue with both AMD and nvidia. Every game gets a profile. It adds up.
