when it takes the $30 off it doesnt actually show that it did. the price of the mb is adjusted. ive got them in my cart with the mb showing as only $39.99-$30off of the normal price ;)

You're right. I didn't notice that. I just didn't see any discount and thought the board was actually 39.99

being that the discount on the mb/cpu combo isnt a coupon it should work.

but again the timings are really sloppy for that speed 16-18-18
after those the price climbs pretty quickly with almost all of them running the same speed and timings

I saw some of that but I am skeptical of off brand ram. I'm sure it would be fine, but saw some reviews that one of those brands doesn't even have a US rma hub, had to ship to Singapore.

I ended up grabbing another set of Gskill RGB 3200c16 for I think $135, not an insane deal but better than the $175 I paid a month ago.
 
probably trying to offload as much first gen as they can before zen 2 announcements. at 100 bucks though that's a steal and worth it if you don't need the higher single core boost speeds of zen+.
 
I'm looking to build a video editing rig (discussed here) and may drop by Microcenter tomorrow to pick up this bundle.

i would have but they are SOLD OUT IN DET!!!! just popped on to dbl check that it was still there. i was going to get one and the wife was going to get one this afternoon. that is soooo deflating.
 
newegg ebay site is still $149 but the coupon is only good up to $100.

Picked up this and the ASROCK B450 PRO4 ATX today at Microcenter. Combo came out to $174.98.
 
MC has dropped the price back to $149 on the 1700x. the 2600 is the same and the 1600 is $139. 2700x is @ $269 $50 cheaper than anywhere else. i7 8700k is $329, lots of nice cpu deals!

Getting a 1700x for that price is very tempting.... Awesome deal
 
Can I just say God bless AMD for making the CPU market competitive again?

8 cores/16 threads at 4.0 ghz+ for $149 is a beautiful thing.

Bought the 1700x mobo combo for $175 at MC :p Also got the MSI RX 580 for 165$ as well! Both deals I got from this forum.
