Cohh finally put out a small thoughts video: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/337990968
The TLDW even though it's only five minutes is basically there is a really good Fallout game but it's riddled with issues to the point where he doesn't recommend buying it unless you've done the research and know what you're in for.
I really hope Bethesda fixes the majority of the issues. As Cohh said though, there's a good chance most of the player base is gone before it happens. I definitely see myself picking this up eventually but it depends on how quickly they fix it.
Fallout 76 players launched so many nukes at once that they crashed a server

Yesssssssssss### Quests - Bureau of Tourism: The Prickett’s Fort Token Dispenser can now be repaired, and players can no longer walk through it.
Watch this video, it has some interesting news from the devs themselves:
Some points:
1. They had no sales goals for this game.
Would like to say performance is now top notch for me finally. Turned vsync off, Maxed out ultra and with gsync in get between 90-120 FPS. No stutter at all. Gotta say this 1 patch fixed all my issues. Shit I’ll even go farther and say it runs better for me than fallout 4 ever did.
Before I had to use that ini help On page 10. So it’s night and day for me.
I'm about to inebriate and hop in for the first time, post-patch.

Patch seems to help with performance a bit.
I'm a little confused on this "Pacifist mode" they've added. So basically, you can be murdered, picked on, etc... But can NOT retaliate? What the shit is that? How does the at all fix possible bullies down the road? Or improve on user experience if they don't wang to PVP? If anything, this will make that player a bigger target if they have this enabled.
horrorshow
Is this correct?
So this means with Pacifist Mode enabled you literally can't be hurt or killed by other players (aside from 1 bullet)? That sounds nice. The amount of damage dealt when Pacifist Mode is turned on in Fallout 76 really is minimal, and once the first shot has been fired, you won’t take any further damage until you return fire, or your vice-versa if you’re shooting a player with Pacifist Mode enabled.
PS4 Pro Vs PC fallout 76 comparison -
My sig vs a friends 55 inch 4k PS4 Pro.
As of 20 minutes logging in next to each other.... my friend has been offered (by a player) a Hazmat uniform with 1k rad resistance, for free... versus, dick heads on pc fucking with
my housing.... I've never even seen a hazmat suit yet and I'm 20 levels higher.
Bottom line... HEY PC PLAYERS! Quit being vaginas!
K thanks!

I don't think I've encountered anyone aggressive thus far. It's usually just been other people farming stuff at the airport, doing public events, or just running around. At one point I managed to get 4 different people to play the instruments at the airport, which was kinda funny. Most people aren't playing with mics, but the people that are have been mostly just chatting with friends. I fully expect the consoles are a different experience, though.
Would any of you say that if you were generally disappointed by FO4 that there's no reason to try this out?
I've been a massive Fallout fan since, well.. I guess just 3 and NV, but 4 let me down, I felt like I did everything I cared to in about 70 hours including every mission of substance and exploring the entire map.
What does this have to offer? If it's just base building I'm probably already out.
Quests mostly show up after u go to an area look in lockers or chests. Some of them are daily quests. I have also got a quest or 2 from robots. Imo the best thing u can do it try to follow the storyline since it will give u some decent weapons along the way. You can get a power suit right away. But can’t use the armor for it until lvl 25.I feel like the discussion here portrays the game far more positively than elsewhere online.
Without NPC’s how can there be any meaningful quests? That was my biggest complaint with 4, it was all retrieve this or clear out this area.
Good to know it can be played solo though, I don’t have much for friends that play games.

I was fully prepared to shell out $200+ for the power armor edition. I cant speak for everyone but I think $60 would have been OK if the game had a good release. If they pushed the beta earlier and delayed the game to fix what they are in the process of fixing now I think it would have been fine. Granted you'd still have people saying "this is just a copy/paste of Fallout 4 and not worth $60" but without the other issues I think those comments would be lost in a sea of comments about how great the game is.I think it's because they are charging too much. IMO it should of been around 39.99-44.99. I also think not being on steam was a huge letdown, I for one wish it was.
Giantbomb Unlikely to Review Fallout 76.
Gerstmann: “No one on staff wants to play anymore of this videogame [Fallout 76]. I’m not going to subject myself to another 20-30 hours of this [expletive] mess to just put a number on it. My number is ‘Don’t play this game’.”
Still shows up as $59.99 when I click your link.
As detailed in GameStop's 2018 Black Friday Ad, Fallout 76's standard edition will be available for $39.99 from November 22 at 3 PM ET. The higher-tier Tricentennial Edition also receives a price cut to $59.99, bundling exclusive in-game cosmetic items. This deal will be granted for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, concluding later this week on November 25.
The most useful weapon in the game (self.fo76)
submitted 2 hours ago by Invictium
Is EASILY the combat knife with the Vampire effect.
I'm approaching level 40 and I've been using this level 20 knife since I've been able to.
The effect is that damaging enemies causes you to heal a small amount, HOWEVER
Just by swinging the knife at any time, you heal about 5% of your life bar. Couple this with the perk that gives you 30% melee attack speed, and you are nearly unkillable
