LMAO!!! Oh my GOD!! Hahahaha!!! TOXIC! WON'T EVEN PLAY IT!

So you're toxic calling others toxic for calling you out on your toxicity and THEN you say YOU WON'T EVEN PLAY IT! THEN WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING EVEN TALKING ABOUT IT??? My god...

You're blind. You're in denial. You want this to be something it isn't. That's called a cult. You're a cult follower on the losing side. Look at your post. Talking about me being BANNED for not being a fucking sheep like you.

Goddam man, are you getting paid to get this worked up or are you defending your religion: Chris-Robertsology?

It's to early in the morning to be on a bender, relax.

Oh BTW the last product this guy worked on was considered vaporware, he did not even complete it Microsoft did. History has a way of repeating its self.

You haven't even commented in this thread before responding to my post......Who is "we" and what "discussion" is happening other than the same posts about it being a scam?

Dude..

Your funny and easy. Anyway back to it.

Thank god, we can go back to actually discussing the topic.

So will the game either:

Be released like BC 3000?

Be sold to a developer?

Somehow squeeze out a proper finished product?

I suspect these funding announcements combined with the new PTU is to showcase the potential to line up project buyers, as 200m is not enough *imho to complete.
Edit: love auto correct

Probably get sold. Like it's been said before, Roberts can't get anything done on his own without oversight and he currently has none. The best chance for this game to actually get released, is for Roberts to go bankrupt and need to sell it to actually pay off debts. The real question is, how long can Roberts actually drag this crap along? The current alpha is hot garbage, and the game has had one of the worst monetization strategies I've ever seen.

As far as the funding announcements, it generates hype. Same thing as that stupid con(which isn't free, accomplishes nothing toward development of the game, but acts as a PBS fundraiser), and a little bit of hype generates a little bit of hope in the people who can't get over the sunk cost fallacy and think if they can just get another few million it'll be good to go.

Defend thy brethren despite not making a single bit of sense and then try and fake a discussion that was never happening in the first place. Talk about funny and easy and screwy!

I watched that video posted here about the face tracking in game, I laughed.

Idk, I think it could go the way of 3000ad, the difference between this and freelancer is that this has already 'sold' copies to a large amount of it's player base. Any studio has to be aware that they have lost about 2m sales before the game has even released.
