Steam game keys from Fanatical? Not working so well for me :(

Fanatical is showing a 15% discount pre-launch sale price on Farming Simulator 19 and I'm wondering how the deal works out of buying a Steam Key from them, then activating on Steam. Also, since I've never bought from these guys, how legit is Fanatical? If there's even a 5% chance that their key won't activate, it's not worth the $5 savings to me.

Advice please...

works the same way GMG and humble bundle works. you get a key, you add the key to steam and done. they use to be called bundlestar before they changed the name(hence the "star deal" still being on the site). they're based out of the UK which can be a bitch sometimes since i've bought a few things there and sometimes my bank will block the purchase due to it being an international purchase and sometimes they won't.

Bought plenty of games from Fanatical and before when they were called BundleStars. They are reliable.

They as legit as any of the key sellers, they make a point of mentioning that they only buy keys from the publisher so you don't have to worry about sketchy keys like on a grey market site.

Legit... but I'm currently having a bad experience with them. I pre-ordered my game when the description read that it was a Steam key, but at launch it became a direct key from Giants Software... that did not work and STILL doesn't work a day after game launch. Fanatical support still says that 'They're working on the problem'.

As I said at the top... any delay or hassles wasn't worth the 15% discount!

Fanatical is quite legit. It’s parent company is a UK based publisher named Focus Multimedia.

Yeah, thats been my biggest gripe with GMG and others in Europe. Even with GOG now, I use paypal to avoid issues with banks blocking the purchase.
