OK, just a quick question. what is the oldest gaming system you have that you still play games on?

For me it is a 1981 TI 99/4A... and the favorites are

Much Man
Ti Invaders
Parsec
Tombstone city
Star Trek
Microsurgeon

My Dreamcast which I still use to play the following:
Rez
Ikaruga
Shikigami no Shiro II
Sonic Adventure 1 and 2
Soul Calibur
Various homebrew shmups

every now and then i get a hankering for some doom, doom2, quake 1 and 2 for pc. one thing i really like about pc, is genereally it does keep backwards compatible for the most part,
console wise: mario world and mario 3, mario 64, random mario kart games. get a turn every now and then.

Gameboy.

A mix of Mario, Kirby, Pokemon and various other platformers and shmups.

Actual hardware? Sega Master System. Best console versions of Ghostbusters and After Burner. I also still play World Grand Prix and Phantasy Star to death.

SNES... I still have a working original gameboy but I don't play it... and I sold my NES collection... but my SNES is sittin' happy next to my 90s SD TV... still fun...

Anyone have a 3DO?

I still have mine boxed up and stuffed away someone. Same with the games with it. It’s what introduced me to need for speed. I can’t remember the other games I have for it tho...

To contribute to the thread, I still have a lot of my old consoles starting with nes. Last thing I dug out and played was my snes for bomberman. Haven’t played with it since picking up bomberman on the switch tho.

I have an Atari 5200 that I pull out every now and then. My Mom originally got it for Christmas from my Dad a few years before I was born.

The first console I got as a child was an SNES bundled with Super Mario All Stars which I still have, and play.

Vetrix box with 3 games... Fire up the asteroids games sometimes.. or the star trek game...

I have an Orig Gameboy (last time I check 6 months ago it wouldn't power on), PS1, N64, NDS, N3DS... These days I just game w/ emulators on my Android set-top box w/ my kid and nephews

I forgot about gameboy. My mom stole it. It still works and she uses it for tetris

I dumped all my old systems when I discovered emulation, but a good friend of mine has basically every "major" system going back to the Atari 2600. He even has a functional Virtual Boy and a ROB that works. Apparently a working Jaguar CD is the holy grail for old systems. It's a complete POS and there aren't many of them out there to begin with. That's the one item he can't seem to locate a working version of. Even finding normal working Jaguars is a challenge. He has 2 dead ones.
Everything else seems to work fine, although his CD-i seems to be on life support.

Oh God....

Neo-Geo AES
Neo-Geo Omega (MVS)
Turbo Duo
PC Engine Duo-R
3DO
Atari Jaguar
PC-FX
Turbo Express
Sega Nomad

I better stop
