Anyone know what's inside these? It's tempting to jump on as there's never a guarantee of the 8TB unit going on sale for BF and I need a couple.

The WD 4TB EasyStore I cracked open had a WD Red NAS drive in it. I've read that lessor models(1-2TB) and some 8TB also had Red NAS
 
Its the same style 5400rpm helium drives as the 8TB shuck it up, though you might luck out with the 4 and 8TB with a red label.
I'd argue theres not likely to be a reliability difference between the red and white though.
