Call of Duty Black Ops 4

If you play Blackout there is no gear to grind for. The standard, pre-custom, loadouts in multiplayer modes are actually quite good. It's not the gear that makes the player.
 
So is it me or what. From what I remember in the BO 1 and 2 that the sniper rifles were not so OP. I've been playing for 2 days now and the amount of guys running around with the sniper rifle is insane. I've literately seen two dozen or more guys with either gold or diamond skins. The no scope, one shot kills is making this almost unplayable. They really need to nerf those.

Yeah they suck you can't even see the other person before it's too late another complaint.

Paladin was already nerfed, it’s balanced just fine now. Any weaker and it’d be worthless.

Wow if that's nerfed I'd hate to have seen it before hand. Really in a run and gun game the sniper rifle should not even be included. I mean its a sniper rifle but its used like a shotgun in game.
 
You have to figure people just bounced from Overwatch to this game and have plenty of sniper rifle experience.

You probably got killed by the shotgun that had a choke on it. Paladin requires you to scope in unless you get hit point blank.

i view the game directly opposite of this. It looks pretty mediocre (not bad but not great either), and most of the good gear is readily available from the get-go. The exception might be some late unlocking guns/attachments like the Saug, High Caliber, Dragon's Breath etc.

there's some really skilled players out there using them. i'm terrible with all of them except the Paladin and the MK14 looking one which is basically a DMR. i haven't tried the Paladin since the nerf and i barely used it before the nerf because it felt cheap. from the kill cams of people killing me with it, it still looks cheap.
 
Mine is totally broken.

It rarely registers kills, and my player keeps getting killed very shortly after spawn. Reloading did not help.

If you're playing multiplayer and taking longer than a second to target a player and shoot them, you're dead. When you spawn you need to really do a 90 in both directions, quickly, to check for spawn campers, or you're dead. Sometimes you're just dead no matter what at spawn. I've not heard or read of anyone having kills not registered. Are you sure you're killing them? Try hardcore mode.

COD is a fast paced twitch shooter. It's all about that fast reaction with precision aiming, or you're dead.

Iron sight sniper rifles, and dual Suags need to be nerfed into the ground.

Also wtf is the game dying, first time at night I sat in a lobby....

It's like that with every Call of Duty game. The first month is fine. By month 3, there will only be a few thousand people playing, and you'll be stuck with mainly TDM.

It's partially why I just went ahead and bought a XIM and typically get the game on the Xbox. Far more players.

I understand how COD works, but it hasn't been a full month yet lol.

Nah that doesn't seem to be the case this time around because a LOT more PC players bought black ops 4 because of blackout. That was the case w/me and a bunch of other friends but we ended up loving MP.

same story here, i bought the game for Blackout and i've barely played it because MP has been so fun. i'm hoping this game turns out more like BO2 which had a fairly sustainable playerbase.
 
Yeah those Sniper Rifle guys and the Shotgun guys are really annoying. I think on that snow map I had a K/D Ratio of .13 at one time it didn't matter where I went I was out gunned. They really need to get rid of the mini map because that is all anyone does.

Unfortunately, the rotation doesn't add anti aliasing, so the edges look kind of awful.

You watch these guys and it's like they don't even have enough time for the aiming (?) they are doing. It's almost like they are just flailing bullets out and getting kills.

How can anyone be that GD fast ?

That's shroud, though. I mean, you picked a video of one of the best FPS players in the world.
 
I was in a match with Shroud this week, really tells me how fast the game is dying, same people same lobbies.

Same thing happens in PUGB. If you wait a couple minutes between matches you'll get all different people.
 
I know you guys are gonna call me an idiot, but I picked up BO2 for 6 bucks on cdkeys and have been having a hella good time online!

*will def buy BO4 if it's still populated in a month-ish

BO2 is a pretty underrated PC game, which is hard to say about a COD game these days.

I love how the game decides to "randomize" teams. It's not that I lost. I'll accept that. But look at my teammates, and look at the other team in both games, which were back to back. And they weren't in a party either.
 
I've noticed that as well. Not much team switching going on between matches.
 
Alright, checking back in now that the game is $30.

How's the population? Is it worth thirty bucks??
 
Definitely worth $30 for battle Royale and multiplayer alone.

Awesome that they did that. Game is not going anywhere, it’s fucking awesome and the best cod in a long time.

Still don’t get the fucktard cod shit talkers. Game is awesome. And they said they’ll stay on top of it and keep it fresh with patches and updates frequently
