Facebook Has Patented Generating Friend Suggestions Based on Real Life Contact

First thing I thought of was creepy drunk at the bar gets rejected, gets a friend recommendation, and then a restraining order soon after. An encounter where you "forget" to obtain contact information doesn't give Facebook the right to provide it. And I don't need my recommended list to fill up with every grocery cashier and restaurant worker I encounter. If I get pulled over by the police will it recommend the officer as a friend? Will a police officer and every suspect they meet be able to friends list also?
