Diablo 4 comming?

So turns out a butch millennial was trying to hype us up for a fucking mobile game. I guess I was right to be nervous.

I looked at all the reskin claims and they look nothing alike... Aside from the input buttons in the bottom-right corner. Models, textures, all that other stuff, look original.

Clearly not a reskin, just a similar UI layout in some cases.

Looks the same to me. In any event, this game is a massive dumpster fire. But I expected nothing less from good ole Blizzard.

You could put a screenshot of Paladins and Overwatch side-by-side and claim one is a re-skin of the other.
They just share similar graphics styles and are in the same genre. The two games are totally separate from each other.

Well considering that NetEase also made these two other games that appear to be functionally very similar (Crusaders of Light/Endless of God) it would appear that Blizzard simply ordered a Diablo version of their standard mobile game:





It's just sad all around. The fact that they thought this was in any way worthy of being "the" Diablo announcement at Blizzcon shows how tone-deaf they are to fans of the franchise. The fact that they got booed and mocked by an audience that PAID TO BE AT THEIR OWN ANNUAL CONVENTION is fucking hilarious.
 
This Diablo news...what a bunch of fucking horse shit. This just doesn't even seem like a Blizzard move. This is Activision 110%, and fuck those people straight to hell. With a pineapple. In the ass. Pointy side first.
 
Where the F is WoD ? 'World of Diablo' MMO ? A more mature darker themed type of WoW, on an all new game engine.

But a silly cell phone game LOL. Who the hell wants that ? And I'm a big smartphone nerd, but I never game on my phone, because I have a PC rig and a 40" 4k monitor, I'm not going to play a game on my 6.3" tiny screen.
 
I was gonna write a long winded and drunk rant last night but just said fuck it. I'll just say this. What a slap in the face. Then to tell a large group of your most devoted fans that paid money to see your marketing "What? You guys don't have phones?". Fuck these guys seriously. I won't spend any more money with activision. I've uninstalled battle.net and won't be reinstalling.
 
Personally, I love the idea of Diablo on mobile. I don't even have a PC anymore (or a console for that matter). My phone does everything for me now. I don't particularly want to sit down at a PC and play games anymore. A quality mobile game would be great.

So some of us that put in thousands of hours don't mind this. Times change. People change. Industries change.

Because I've been on this forum building PCs and buying/selling PC parts for almost 15 years? I like this site. Just because I don't want to play computer games at this point doesn't mean I'm not interested in PCs and hardware. I randomly build a PC every once in a while and then part it out later.

Who are you to question me? I bet I put in more time in the Diablo franchise than 99% of people out there. God forbid someone likes something you don't.

LOL no kidding.

I love smartphones, but F if I'll ever game on one. That's what my PC rig is for with a large display and keyboard + mouse.

So play Diablo on my 40" monitor with a keyboard and mouse. Or play Diablo mobile on a tiny 6" screen with no controller.

I'm married with two kids in grade school and very busy activities. And run a business that consumes me. But I still find time late at night, after kiddies go to bed to play on my PC. I'll never game on my cell phone.
