Super great flashlight. Last bought one on july of '14 for diesel mechanic work and I'm still using the same one. Cost me $98 that time....saw these were on sale at Coast's website for Halloween and decided to check Amazon before order....they are $90 on Coast's website with the Halloween discount. Not sure if this is a pricing mistake or what but grab it while you can.

I ordered two. One to replace my old one which will be used at home now and the other for home too.

It's an awesome light and the build quality is amazing. The light fits in my front pants pocket comfortably all day.

Just saw these were $119 at home depot. Even on ebay they're over $100.
Just ordered one from Amazon for $46. Seriously for more than half price off, that's hot. Thank you for the link.

Reminds me of when I was able to buy the Sennheiser GSX-1000 for $99 due to a pricing error from Brandswalk during black friday. (they raised it back up to $159 or something the next day. A lot of people got in on that deal).

Just bought for 43. I have been wanting a nice flashlight but have not taken the time to research and pick one out. For this price with your review, no brainer.

Hmmm can get some decent cheap ass fixed focus fenix torches (maybe dodgy factory back runs etc..) for half that with a battery but adjustable focus is normally a pricey feature, so seems like a good deal. I shy away from adjustable torches due to reliability and a critical + heavy work use but I don't cheap out either. Ps AW imr rechargeable have lasted me hundreds (500+) of charge cycles over 7 years and they have outlasted every other lithium battery I own. 15 to 20 bucks each but you can't beat em, rolls Royce of lithium ions, good Jap cells, still holds about rated charge today.

Hard for me to believe these are still only $44 shipped.

Multiple sketchy random sellers

Then a big jump to “sold by Amazon”

Im betting knockoffs

its probably the non-rechargeable version....if so, back to amazon they will go.

The "R" in the model name means it's rechargeable. And it says "A25R". If that is not the model you receive, Amazon would have to refund you full shipping and cost and pay for the return shipping also.

That is exactly why I ordered a few. I've gotten lucky on amazon before. Ordered an IR cordless right angle impact bare tool and ended up with the kit that contains two batteries and a charger.

The flashlight deal seems to good to be true, but we shall see.

Big question is why is it so much cheaper than the 340 lumens one.
Well you guys should be getting them soon. Mine comes tomorrow.

Offloading the 466 lumen version for the new 725 lumen one? Description doesn't match the title but we'll see.

466 lumens is the original rating(as specified by my original order). No f'ing way this flashlight is 725 lumens. It is bright, but it doesn't blind you. I hate bright ass lights that blind me when trying to look at something in closer detail. This is the ideal all around light, imo.
Something is wrong with Amazons tracking on my order and I have no clue when I am supposed to receive mine, but hopefully tomorrow.

It appears that they revised that model to be 725 lumens sometime within the last few years. Guess the description is old. We'll see when it arrives!

They probably scored a bulk deal with costco?

Mine came in a nice box

Accidentally bought two from two different sellers, so maybe there's a pattern with the packaging. Will know tomorrow.

Yours came with two Li-ion battery packs and an regular AAA battery pack?
Mine only had one rechargable and one regular pack.

Yup 2 li-on and 1 AAA

EDIT: I bought mine from “sold by Amazon.com” that was posted above

I'm on the phone with Amazon about this.

The very first review for the link (by the seller) shows a 'boxed' version with 2 li-ion battery packs.
But since i received a different product, amazon is going to contact them or even possibly file a claim against them for not selling what is being advertised or for selling a cheaper package. Or maybe they will send a 2nd battery pack. We'll see what happens.
But the very fact that the top review here shows a box and 2 li-ions is quite troubling:

I also only received the 1x lithium kit, but I am very very impressed with this light. Curious to see what amazon says/does about the missing pack.

it's a great light but it wasn't what was advertised directly on the page, which said 2x Li Ion, and even showed a customer review of the box where it came with 2x Li ion and one AAA pack.
It's a literal gut punch to receive a 1x kit with cardboard when that's not what you are lead to believe you will be buying. It just feels wrong.

The seller has no more stock of it. They said that sending me an extra li ion pack would be ok but they don't even have any flashlights at all, so they're going to pick the item up and then just give me a refund after they receive it back.

I love the light. i do not love a bait and switch (even if it was unintentional).

Yep, definitely should be the boxed version. Costco labeled crap is usually cheaper. I have a CAT floodlight from Costco that costs less than the "original" and have found the battery is also less powerful and doesn't last as long. That is one reason I was skeptical of the price on these lights...

I'm still waiting to receive mine. I'm on the east coast and guessing it shipped from CA? I ordered them last Friday...

Edit: Finally was able to get the tracking information for my packages and UPS says they were delivered yesterday but I have no packages...new neighbors next door...hmmmmmmm. I sent an e-mail to the seller. We shall see how this goes.

I received one shipped and sold by Amazon, one sold by a 3rd-party on Amazon. The Amazon one is the retail packaging (the box with 2 Li-ion batteries), the 3rd-party one has to be the Costco clear plastic packaging version due to the box's size. Returning that one, woo.

Just opened mine up and used it before looking at this! it was the blister pack one. Not too worried about the 2nd battery. The light is legit heavy and very bright.

It came straight from Coast...at least the shipping label stated so.

Blister pack versions for me. I noticed that the description on the back for the batteries were flipped around. Maybe they were trying to clear out the misprint versions and the "auto-pricing" algorithms across the internet started driving all the pricing down.

I sent an email through Amazon to the seller. They can take these back and I will rebuy just one from Costco if I can't get the boxed version from Amazon.

I picked up two of these and got the blister packs also. Great we'll built flashlight for the price. Much brighter than my current truck/camping torch.
