So recently I purchased a video card from [h]. It was pretty much DOA, first time it's ever happened to me. I did the whole troubleshooting thing, contacted the seller, etc. The seller was quick to say that it worked for them, never offered to take it back, but did say they would contact the person they were selling it for so I can get a receipt to RMA. I did get the reciept after a day or so and finally was able to RMA the video card (which totally sucks not getting a working card and having to rma it immediately).
Now the seller won't respond back after I've asked them to leave feedback for me (note I didn't say I would leave them feedback. I feel like this seller is afraid I'll leave some scathing feedback, but I've kinda felt let down because I went well above in beyond to make sure things went well. I just kinda wanna get a positive review out of it I got a broken item, did troubleshooting, and then didn'tt have it for over a month after buying it waiting for it to be RMA'ed. I never once threatened to do anything rash. I just wanted a working video card. It's kinda annoying cause that same seller even just put a new ad up today so I know they are avoiding my message.
So what would you guys do in the future? the only two times I've gotten a DOA item from [H], one of the sellers worked with me. This is the first time where the seller just kinda gave a "You deal with it" attitude. What do you think I should of done? Should I of just asked to return it from the get go? What would you guys have done in that situation?
