How to remove thermal epoxy?

I actually have a whole bunch of other random stuff that's glued onto the heatsink:

2x GeForce 4 Ti 4600's (with 2 replacement heatsink/fans I ordered months ago)
2x Pentium classics, from my old computer in the 90s. I actually let one soak in 70% Alcohol for awhile and it did nothing.

Epoxy is a thermosetting plastic. It is resistant almost all solvents. Methylene chloride mearly softens the surfaces and areas of incomplete polymerization. I went to glue school, or was school on glue?

Most non grease TIM between the heatsink and chip is Phase change material. Its wax and will soften with heat. It does "bond" very well.
