Damn it Skillz, would you quit cheating and "blackmailing" BOINC.BE! My PM inbox and email inbox are getting full from all the Private Messages from marsinph concerning your dastardly escapades!

Coleslaw, I fell in love with this one; "Big contributors will still jump around helping their neighbors. So, nothing is stopping the whales from swimming in the kiddie pool."

Probably one of my better analogies. :D Oh...and my handle was taken here long before I arrived.

My runtimes in a very rough estimate given BHSpin v2 :

4790K at 4.5ghz = ~2h, 30min
QEYAs = ~3h
6700K at stock/4.0ghz = 2h, 30min
7700K at 4.2ghz = ~2h, 15min
8700K at 5ghz = ~1 hour, 45min
TR at 3.4ghz = ~2h

Anyone care to translate the first 4 posts on this page? I'm kind of a newbie yet. ;)

It's actually the 1st 5 posts. It has to do with an idiot ,marsinph, from BOINC.BE (in League 3) making some posts on the FB forums. He's not a happy camper and is now threatening to do a DOS attack on the TSBT forums. He has accused Skillz of cheating and [H} of paying their crunchers.

That's all that is about. It was laughable until he threatened TSBT.

Oooooh. That's no bueno.

RE: ThreadRipper run times. Mine is stock, Win10, getting about 2 hours per task.

motqalden About 2h 20m-ish per, with HT on.

These are the BHSpin app though:

I only have a pair of RPi running universe for the weekend, they should be able to generate a few thousand points :-/

On the TR, DDR2400 tayunz

However: phoenicis was on earlier this morning and noted long run times on the same app... or so we think it's the same app.

Check it out:
phoenicis [7:27 AM]
Running different batches right now. Ones starting universe_bh2_180328_245_125 finish in under 2 hours
Ones starting universe_bh2_180328_244_243 closer to 3

Seems you lot have things very much under control in League II... almost makes me think I should switch teams to make things interesting. ;):ROFLMAO:

I normally hide my systems; but what the heck. Here's what I brought online this evening for the Sprint. You know... just to help put a little. :D (y)

Oh, and that 4P is a very bad box. Only running as a 2P right now. Either a bad CPU mezzanine riser, or a bad processor; not quite sure which. Spent a lot of time troubleshooting it tonight though. Been bugging me for weeks and finally decided to try and beat it into submission. No such luck. Thankfully it's fully under warranty.

Well done all! Our competition may be off on the WCG Thor challenge right now but it's good practice for next year when stomping home won't be quite so easy.

Well done on your first place victory, and 2nd place overall, edging out 7AA7 by a nose...

Thanks Tony. Got lucky and guessed right again.

The team is doing well in the sprint this weekend. About 17 hours left. We are currently in 1st place.

they just leave a mark right now; you can add the power from the L3-pirates as they are associated ... if they would do we had some serious work to do.

LOL. The anti-XS campaign continues. :D

It certainly wasn't like this when my and your team competed against each other last year. How did it get to this stage? team hopping to deny another team its rightful points. Its all looking rather ugly and dirty from a spectator's point of view, certainly not cricket.

I'm not particularly a fan of it. But to be fair, they started it. :p

Yeah I'm not a fan of it. There aren't any rules against it, and XS has employed the tactic in the past themselves. Some of the members are trying to be friends with other teams and helping them out. It does look a little dirty, it could also look really good. All depends.
