Installed an ********** USB 3.0 PCI -Express card for extra rear usb ports on my computer, Needed to update BIOS to get it to work, done that, found out that both my rear panel speaker and front panel headphone jacks werent working and did not show up in the sound panel/settings, All that showed up was my video card audio via Displayport.
Even realtek drivers and software wouldnt work properly, I would install it, restart like it wanted to, but the audio manager wouldnt show up after restart. Perhaps its because the PCI card uses VIA drivers and they cant work with realtek audio drivers..
Searched google to try and fix this and the main fix was to go into bios and make sure onboard audio was set from auto to enabled. This did not work.
Removed the pci card and onboard audio started working just fine.
Installed the card again to see if it was a fluke or something, Even reformatted my hard drive with a clean install of Windows 10, Still wouldnt work.
The card worked fine with things plugged into it So I dont think it could be a bad part.
Any ideas on how to fix this doozy of a problem?
