WTF! I thought they all closed too... I used to live near one but it closed back in 2005ish.... Im jealous
Yes, Tiger Direct did buy them but I thought all of their stores had closed down.

ill never forget going into my local compusa WAY BACK IN THE DAY and buying the "original" Geforce 256 and the salesman guy telling me to save a few houndred and just get the S3 Virge DX with 16mb ram, be about the same performance..... what an idiot!

Thank god they all shut down in my area. I'd be in there more often than Home Depot.
Lol thats true, I didn't realize moving to Oregon how great it was in So Cal having a Frys and Micro Center near by. But no sales tax is pretty sweet.

At least you can walk right in a store and by one upon launch day, unlike the RTX 2080 ti!

Ack! Unfortunately that is possible true. I’m looking at building a i9 9900K + RTX 2080 ti rig, this is going to take some patience!

Yeah back in the day @ 2002-2003, CompUSA was my toy store for sure. Bought my first 3 computer games there... Links386, Aces Over Europe, and Doom... Oh Yeah!! And remember impatiently waiting for the next issue of Computer Gaming World to come out!!!
